BKF getting a track follower?

When I was at SFWoA this Mon(6-30-02...i think thats the date;)lol) I was looking on the transfer track the closest brake run towards the lake...so the very far transfer track...There is a little tarp over soemthing that looks to be in a sphere formation ont he track...The only toher ride I know that has this is Wildfire...

The device runs on the track too look at problems.

Stop the lawyers, not the rides!

I haven't seen it but, After seeing the picture of that "thing" in the ACE news it seems to be a really cool idea.

That's the track inspection vehicle. It has been there since it opened.

It can stop at any point of the track. Even at the top of the vertical loop.

That would be COOL! but what i wonder is, is it weighted so that it rights itself instead of inverting?

ladies and gentlemen, due to an increase in line jumping, people caught cutting in line will no longer be ejected from the park. u will be ejected from the ride

might i ask, what is a track follower and how does it work? what do they look like?
Wildfire and BKF are not the only rides to have this. I have seen one of these on Knotts' Jaguar.
