Bjorkland fired from Expo Square in Tulsa, Robbie Bell implies something improper

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Board fires Rick Bjorkland over missed rent checks at the fairgrounds. Bell's Amusement Park owner Robbie Bell spends a couple of hours on the air with radio station KFAQ/Tulsa about the demise of his park.

"I believe their plan was not just to get rid of us, but to bury us. To make it to where we couldn't get set up again," Bell says.

This is really good stuff. It's a long listen, but it sure does imply everything I had been saying when Bell's was taken out. Something ain't right. This sure confirms it to me.
Is this the same Jerry Murphy that wanted to buy Wild West World?
Hahaha - being one that hasn't followed this topic at all, I thought Bjorkland was a park being built around the singer!

I third it. Come to think of it, with all the crappy songs that have rides built around them at HRP, I'd much rather visit Bjorkland. Motorcrash: The Coaster comes to mind...

Man Jeff, you wern't kidding when you said it was a long listen. It was interesting though.
I had a feeling that this was going to happen, especially when the Murphy's couldn't seal the Witchita deal. The past is finally catching up with Bjorklund and the Murphy Bro's.

I thought there was a theme park named Bjorkland. What a tease. :(
It is a sad thing that the Fair people promised the Arabian horse people a parking garage and then could not fund the building project so it was cheaper and easier to move our beloved Bells out in a hurry. so now they have parking.

Hey Robbie and Family, i hope and pray for you every day to have the ability to rebuild 1 ft. outside of tulsa county. that way you are close enough for us to enjoy and the county gets ZILCH! (does not rhyme with ZINGO)
