Big Trouble with Downloading

I am having serious problems trying to download rct track packs from the internet. After I download I open the file and it says "This file may not be supported by AOL. We will try to open it as a text file if you wish to continue." I then click continue and it says "the file is too large to open using AOL, try opening it under a new application." Does anyone have any idea why this isn't working? Any thoughts would be extremely helpful.

I know why it's happening. You're on AOL. AOL hates every file type which isn't thiers. Seriously think about switching to a local ISP. It's much more reliable, and it won't mess up your system, not to mention downloading will be much easier.

(BTW, AOL can really mess up your system. My dad for some crazy reason tried to install 7.0, and it caused our computer to not detect our NIC card, so we had no internet access for a little while.)

I'm on  AOL v 6.0 and have no trouble downloading RCT files.I just use a program such as winzip to open the file,I've downloaded several saved game files without a problem but hav not downloaded track files yet.When downloading a saved game I just download to documents and then unzip the file into the my documents folder and it works just fine.

Exactly what Batwing said, you need winzip, which you can download from the internet, a lot of times you need certain patches, the drexler patch for most downloads.
