big rides

i am fairly new to rct but have a quik queston. everytime i try to build a huge coaster, i always get a low exciting rating, an ultra extreme intensity rating and a very high nausea rating. after i have spent all that time and money on a coaster and no one will ride it. what can i do to solve that problem. or how can i make good big rides that people will ride?
Heres one you should try if you have Loopy Landscapes use the Arid Heights scenerio. Using the steel twister I made a 262 foot lift height 100mph added a launch lift hill at the top, 4 large loop inversions at the bottom and than brake speeds of 18 to 9mph ext, and 3 floorless trains runing and got an excitement raiting of 7.75 very high. Try it your self I gurantee it will work!

Prepare for a Jurassic Park 4!
If your new, don't start with big rides. Start small, work your way up. It's hard to get a good coaster when your a beginer, but as you learn the game more, it's easier and easier.

you can build big rides, but always make sure that you aren't going to fast into your inversions. 40-45 for basic loops, 55-60 for large loopes, 30-38 for corkscrews, and 25-30 for inline twists enjoy!

Red Wings Suck!!!
For a beginner, I'd suggest just putting up the rides that come already constructed, and study them! Watch how they run, see how the elements are put together, and watch the speeds they have when they hit those elements. Then start with a steel mini coaster, it's one of the easiest to build and work with. Get used to that, and you'll be well on your way!

Also, make sure your coasters aren't going too fast into unbanked turns as well as inversions. Wrap the coaster around itself to help your excitement rating, and don't underestimate the value of putting trees and paths around it. Enjoy!

Mustang: Nice tip, although it is very funny to send a train through a barrel roll at 90 mph...Dorney Dante: I have some advice, try building rides with the elements and transitions like a real B&M coaster. Thats what i do, and it's usually a high exitement rating, and low intensity, don't try stuff like building 10 big loops in a row, because no one will ride it(just an example). Have fun:)
