Big Dipper at Camden Park

Screechin' Eage has run several kinds of trains including NAD. Now (or last time it ran) it had a hybrid train that had a NAD chassis but PTC bodies.

I think Dayton Fun House was somehow connected to the construction but Miller is generally credited with the design. At least according everything I've seen about it.

Rye's kiddy coaster is not identical to Camdens Lil Dipper. For one, Rye's is all wood and doesn't have the metal support structure. Two, Rye's is just one big loop of track (with space for rides inside the loop). Camden's ride has two loops (much smaller in diameter). About the only thing they have in common is that they both run the mini Century Flyers.

RCDB actually says that Rye's coaster was built by the LA Thompson Company.

Camden's whip just might be better than Rye's! They're both fast but Camden's seems a little less "sloppy." But Rye's is bigger so you have more time between whips so I guess it all depends on what you're looking for...

Come to think of it, I have always seen Rye's kiddy coaster credited to L. A. Thompson Company, not NAD. Maybe there is confusion between the trains and the actual coaster?

If Camden's Whip is better that Playland's, I'm there! Last year was the first time I realized that I could have as much fun on a Whip as I do on flying scooters!

Then your not doing flying scooters right :)

Chuck, who loves a good whippin too :)

No... aside from Knoebels Flyers, most flying scooters CAN'T be done right!
