Big Chiefs questions

Hey, I have a few questions for people who have been to Big Chiefs, and only if you have been to Big Chiefs. If you havn't, don't reply... I don't want to read a bunch of noise.

1. How long do lines get on Tuesdays (or any weekday)?

2. What do you think is better, Zeus or Cyclopse?

3. What go-kart track is the best?

4. Have you been to Big Chiefs?

All of these are about Big Chiefs 2 (the park with the coasters, duh!) I just want to know because in two weeks one day I start my coaster season! YAY!

BTW, I asked if you've been to Big Chiefs because I'm looking at that answer first. If it says no, I'm not reading it!

1. How long do lines get on Tuesdays (or any weekday)?
The lines are non-existent. I went last July on a weekday and everything was a walk-on. They also give you 2 rides per session.

2. What do you think is better, Zeus or Cyclopse?
Personally, I like Cyclops better but dont get me wrong, they are both great for what they offer. Cyclops gets the nod due to the second drop which is airtime city. Zues gives great air on the bunny hops and especially the bunny hop into the turnaround.

3. What go-kart track is the best?
The one that stood out for me was the go-kart track that intertwined with the Pegasus. That final hill before the finish gives great air(yes in a go-kart).

4. Have you been to Big Chiefs?
Well since I just answered your questions that would make it pretty obvious.

I hope to get out there this summer. 3 CCI coasters in one park is a godsent.

I totally agree with everything Chitown said. Oh and another great go-kart track is Posiedons. It has a 7 level bridge and go over and under water. But the one Chitown talked about is truly the best...Especially with that double dip it has. Great air and the go karts backfire on it.
Where extra padding on Cyclops if you intend to sit in the back. :-P It is fun but trust me on that one.

Note that you have to be 18, thats right 18, to sit in the last few seats on Cyclops :)

Cyclops is better, just because of the air on the second drop and the floating into the turn after it. I told my brother to put his hands up and he stood up and almost fell out! I think the go-kart track by Pegasus has Medusa in its' name. It feels like your go kart is going to fly off the track if you go full speed.

Something to consider if you are going to Big Chiefs -

I just called them to find out about their hours (it's not on their website that I could find). During the weekend's they are open late - you should have no scheduling problems. But during the weekdays, it appears that they are only open until 5pm...BUT they can CLOSE EARLY if there are too few people there, or if the weather is bad (or possibly even if the weather looks bad). So if you are planning on going on a weekday, keep this in mind.

This is a disappointment for me, because I was thinking how great it would be to go up there tonight and check out their CCIs (I only live 1/2 hour to 45 min. away, yet for some reason I've still never been there).

They should really advertise and promote more in Madison, because I bet they could easily get the teenagers and college crowd with the coasters and awesome go-karts. Wisconsin Dells doesn't have to just be for the tourists and families. Then maybe they'd be open later.

1. What Chitown Said. You can ride any of the coasters over and over without waiting. But you have to get back in line.

2. I personaly like Zeus better. But make sure you ride it at Night. Believe me, it will become one of your favorite coasters after that.

3. My favorite Go-Kart track is Poseidon (sp?). It's my favorite because it has helixes (yes, but without banking) going up and down, If you get an inside turn on them, you'll pass up everyone. Another reason is because you go into a tunnle that goes under water, which is pretty cool, and there is a wooden bridge that goes over the water that has little bumps that throw you off your seat. That ones my favorite.
