Big Bad Wolf question

Did I miss something or was there a change....

On the RCDB, one of the pictures of Big Bad Wolf show the track and train coming out of one of the "buildings" in the Bavarian villiage. Was there a "tunnel" on this ride at one point in time... or is it still there and I just don't remember it? If it was there at one time, when was it removed? (and reasons if known)

Is that the station? It doesn't look like it, and it looks like the train is moving.

There would have to be quite the straightaway before any tunnel to make sure it wasn't swinging... or else a huge clearance.

I suppose you mean that one. I really haven't the slightest clue, and I sure would like to know the answer myself. I certainly don't remember a tunnel at all, although it has been a while.

If the shoe fits, find another one.

I wouldn't exactly call it a tunnel, but after the first turn, it does go through an underpass of sorts. I don't think its gone, but I haven't ridden the coaster, either. you kinda see it in the video from Alex's Place if you look hard, but I don't think they're up and running yet so...

Yep, that's the picture.

Can't be the station... the tracks make a turn to the left when it leaves the station. The turns in the "villiage" all are to the left of the train as you leave. The tracks on the photo are to the "right" of the train. Also, isn't the station more "open" than the structure the train is leaving in the photo? Of course, the photo could be "reversed"... the train appears to be travelling in a clock wise direction in the photo, but I think I remember it travelling more clockwise.

An underpass? Could be with weird lighting on the pic... It's only been a week, but I don't remember an underpass... however the train is moving fast, so I may not have noticed.

Also, in the pic, it looks like the train is coming out of a left turn at a fair speed by the angle of the rear cars.

there is one right turn on the ride. the first one goes to the left, the second to the right, the thrid to the left, and then the helix.

That picture isn't mirrored. It's looking at the S-Curve that occurs right after the first lift.

In other words, you drop off the lift and turn left, about 180 degress, then you reach the spot where that photo is taken, then turn right 180 degrees. Left again, and then into the helix.

It does go under the building, but it's got tons of clearance, and though it's been 3 or so years since I've ridden BBW, I don't recall as being something terribly obvious to the riders.

yeah I have ridden BBW once and I have a POV video I have and that under pass is early in the ride liek after the first turn and you can also se ein the phto that opening is huge.
