BGW/SFA/PKD July 1-4

I will be going to BGW, SFA, and PKD July 1st-4th(thursday-sunday). however i have know ideas what days I'm going to which parks. Which parks should i try to go to on thursday and friday to avoid weekend/4th of July crowds?

also, where can you get discount tickets for these 3 parks?

Blockbuster has PKD discount tickets. Coupons for all three parks can be found at various local fast food locations, especially Wendy's and Burger King. PKD and SFA (I'm not sure about BGW) both sell discounted tickets online. If you're a AAA member, you can get probably the best deals from them.

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

I went to SFA last year just to catch the fireworks and a ride on S:ROS, and I can tell you it was crowded as hell. It took an hour just to get off the parking lot, but I hear that was better than PKD, where it took two hours to get off their parking lot. Considering that the 4th is on a Sunday, expect things to be even worse this year.
I was at BGW on the 4th last year, and it was crowded but the lines were not that bad. At SFA you have the option of buying the jump in line passes so I would do PKD before the weekend.
Your best bet is to go to pkd before the weekend, like raven said. We are still in school around here, (I live in fredericksburg) and im pretty positive richmond and down there is too........so you wont have as many people such as kids or teenagers crowding the park.

About Sfa, ive never been, so I couldnt tell you, and Bg, will always be crowded on weekends, but the lines are never extreme lengths

Good luck, and have fun

Well, July we are out of school, but whatever park you go to on July 4th, bring a sleeping bag and just sleep out the lines to get out for an hour or two, then drive out.

I went to BGW a few Saturdays ago (mid May). It was crowded, but the lines weren't too long. All 4 coasters each ran all 3 of their trains, which means that they should be moving often.
If you go to BGW on a Saturday, be prepared to deal with longer lines, but they should have everything running at capacity.
I didn't see anything about discounts for BGW, but I thought the $46 was a good price for this park with all of the quality attractions BGW has.

If you choose to go to PKD on the weekend, Sunday may be better.
For tickets to the other parks (SFA and PKD), I'd try the online print-at-home tickets: you have them right away, which means no waiting at the windows, and they might even sell them for up to $10 off the gate price.

Dental Plan! Lisa Needs Braces.

right now, plans are PKD on thursday, SFA on friday, and BGW on sunday.

also... does anyone know any good hotels near the parks?

Let me know when your going i will meet you at PKD and BGW... ;-)
