BGW's Howl O'Scream

Have you seen BGW’s Howl O’Scream website? They don’t have a single haunted house! Do any Virginians have any insight on this (e.g., did they give up in trying to compete with the scares of KD’s FearFest?)?
I've also been wandering this, as we are scheduled to go the weekend of Sept. 27-29. It will still be a worthwhile trip as it will be our first time there riding the coasters but it would be even better if they had some nice scares too.

You mentioned about KD's FearFest. Not trying to be "smart", but I assume you mean PKD?

My wife and I were thinking about a trip down to PKD during this time... not because of their Halloween festivities, but simply because it fits our schedule. Do they run all coasters during this time? Or do they keep some close like Hersheypark does with its Hersheypark in the Dark?

(Sorry, not trying to change the BGW topic... just seemed like an appropriate place to ask)

Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

SLFAKE,

yea they only keep some of the rides open. I don't remember them all, but I'm pretty sure they have all four woodies open, plus anaconda, shock wave, and at least ricochet. Again, I can't confirm these.

SLFAKE, last year, i believe everything was open except for the congo area. So, if thats the case this year, Volcano, FoF, Anaconda, and Avalanche will all be closed.
