BGW Trip Report, 7/2/03

My second trip ever to BGW wound up exactly the same as my first, even though that was over 15 years ago. Spend the evening beforehand at a motel in Virginia. Woke up the next morning to pouring rain. Weather report indicates rain all day. Leave Williamsburg very unhappy.

Rain has only thwarted park visits for me twice ever. And I've only attempted to visit BGW twice ever. Is fate trying to tell me something? I like a little rain on a park visit because it keeps lines down, but when they predict rain all day, there's really no point in going. :(

That sucks, I have gotten rained out at BGW once, but seriously keep trying that park is one of the best (if not the best) in the country. You will be rewarded some day.

I spent 3 days at BGW where it rained most of the time, but it was well worth going even with the rain.
