BGW Ride Operations

What rides seem to be closed down the most? Are The roller coasters open most of the time or what? Any other tips about the park would help because I am going there on Friday! CAN"T WAIT!

-----------------

None are usaully down! I would go to loch ness monster first but instead of waiting to go down to the stairs to alpie go through ireland and you can get there 15 minutes before everbody else. Or go there straight as you get there it's almost a 45 minute ert on alpengiest.

Damn!im going tue,wed,and thurs.

I'm going to busch gardens williamsburg tommorow, wednesday, and thursday!

Rides closed at BGW???? Who ever heard of such a thing?

Now that they've redone their simulator and ripped down Drachen Fire, the only thing likely to be closed is Wild Maus, and that one only if it happens to be raining!

I agree with what has been said. BGW is real good about having ALL rides open every day. The Alpengeist crew was pretty sad when I last visited in '99 while the Apollo crew was pretty decent. I think Jeff said it was the same last year. BGW is an awesome park though - it has so much to offer for everyone and is extremely beautiful. I'd venture to say it is my second favorite park behind CP and ahead of Hershey. :)

I agree totally, that park was so beautiful and it had so much to offer. Alpie and AC are both in my top 10 and I've ridden a nice amount of coasters.

Top 5:
5) S:ros Sfdl 4) Raptor 3) Apollos Chariot 2) Magnum 1) Millennium Force

I love BGW. It doesn't have the "tatoo croud" (no offense) and with all the trees and scenery it never seems to be crouded and hot like most of the other sf parks are like. They don't have the best crews for their coasters like CP BUT there were never any lines for any of the coasters for the 3 visits I've made.

Im going to BushGardens at the end of this month, and I was also wondering which rides i should hit first?, and do they ever make lochness monster go trou the loops a the same time?, and do they have many flat rides there? and is one day from morning till however long it takes or till closing enough tim in Bushgardens williamsburg?
Hit Alpengeist first next Apollo's Chariot if you don't want long waits. Nessie never goes throught the loops at the same time unless the park is crouded and it runs 3 trains and not 2. Not that many flat rides seriously need more.

-----------------
Fear The two Apollo’s Chariot,which boasts nine drops,totaling 825-feet!and Alpengeist,the world’s tallest at(195-feet!),fastest at(67 mph!)and most twisted inverted roller coaster.
