BGW Questions

If you see people getting off EFP wet, you might get wet. Sometimes, it's like there's an invisible force field around you to keep the water off, it's strange. Front , back, middle, never wet have I gotten.
Did Corkscrew Hill replace Questor?
There is also Imaginique which was an awesome light show. It gets crowded really fast...... and after it ends...God help you and them narrow ass paths. When I went I felt as if I was in a herd of sheep waiting for a border collie to direct us.

Is your real name Yoda? LOL.

I always get drenched on Shoot-The-Chuteses.

Yoda...lol Good one. Star Wars is almost better than coasters. Well.....Almost..:)

I've sat in the back of Pompeii and just got a mere sprinkle. If you want to get wet, stand on the platform at the base of the drop. Other than that, Escape from Pompeii is very cool.

All the coasters are awesome (except Wilde Maus as I haven't ridden it yet).

Must See Shows:

Irish Thunder - The best show I've seen in years (next to Imaginique).

Castle O'Sullivan - cute kid's show.

Imaginique - Don't miss this nightly show. It blew me away and the soundtrack is awesome.

Food:

Grogan's in Ireland has stew in a bread bowl and massive baked potatoes. Their club sandwiches on Irish soda bread is tops.

Ristorante della Piazza in San Marco - Mama Stella's Sampler - canneloni, spaghetti, and chicken parmagian - MMMMM. And you can catch the show across the way while you eat.

Three Rivers Smokehouse in New France- Beef brisket that melts in your mouth. Awesome!

The Festhaus in Oktoberfest - Their corned beef sandwich is huge and quite tasty. You can check out the show here while you eat.

I could go on but the rides, food, and shows together make BGW the best park I've ever been to.
I'll be making my third visit to the park in a little over a week.

To weigh in...

During a Thursday visit in early April lines for Coasters were as follows:

Loch Ness Monster: 30 minutes at beginning of the day, walk on near closing

Alpengeist: 20 minutes for middle seat, 45 minutes for front seat

Big Bad Wolf: 10 min and 5 min

Apollo's Chariot: 20 min (acutally it was longer, but they halted to add a 3rd train so the 20 min is not counting the time to add and test run the train) and 10 min.

Wild Maus: Unsure... did not ride. The entire queue was filled. After waiting 10 minutes and hardly moving, I decided to skip out of line and move onto other things.

So as with any park, the wait times vary depending on the crowd, weather, day of the week etc.

Face it, call ourselves what we want, but to the parks we are all "GP".
