BGW or BGT

Which park is better Busch Gardens Williamsburg or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay? I like Busch Gardens Williamsburg better because its one of my home parks and it love Apollos Chariot too. And I havent been to see the new country there Ireland yet but I will be going soon.
They are both outstanding parks, but I prefer Tampa just a bit. I went to Williamsburg with the school, on a crowded Saturday, and rode each coaster once, except Apollo 3x, and Nessie 2x

My dad and I go to Tampa every Spring Break. We use a shuttle service, and have a great day, so I have more memories. That is why Tampa gets the better mark for me.

I have never been to either but, I would like to go to Williamsburg. I would like to see all the history to it, plus they have some tight rides

You are the Weakest Link, Goodbye.
BGW all the way. BGT is WAY too hyped up. It is featured on every coaster show just because it is a zoo! It is a great park, but I prefer BGW a lot more. More shade, and more rides! I think it is prettier too. I prefer Alpengeist over Montu and like Apollo's Chariot and the Big Bad Wolf way better than Scorpion and Jumba. Both outstanding parks, but BGW wins my vote.

Coasters- a little slice of heaven
since i havent been to either, id say bgw because it has won so many awards but from what ive seen in pics id say bgt because it seems they got better rides(esp with rhino rally), a zoo, and a woodie. some of bgw's rollercoasters look crappy to me but i havent seen to much about them.

tombstone it shall be seen. Here lie the bones of a smoking machine."

homepark=knotts berry farm (monte rules)
I agree with bryan. BGW is a really nice looking park, but other than Apollo and Alpengiest there really aren't many great coasters! Meanwhile BGT has Montu and Kumba, and they have Rhino Rally too! Yippee!

CP in 2002, get to the point
Never been to BGW, but I kinda have something against BGt so I would say BGW.

I believe a topic like this shouldn't be posted. Just wanted to point that out.

I think a topic like this SHOULD BE POSTED and i have found the replies interesting. No reason at all to close the post, they just want comparisons of the two parks.
I like BGT, because of Montu, Kumba, and other great coasters they have !
BGW becuase Apollo's Chariot is was better than Kumba, Alpengeist is better than Montu, and Nessie and BBW beat out the other coasters at BGT
i dont like either. BGW has narrow narrow paths and one good coaster, AC. Alpengiest is over-hyped, Montu is better. It also has a poor layout. I was expecting more animals and only found one place with rabbits, an eagle, prarie dogs, a pig and other normal animals (except eagle and PD) This park needs wood, and Drachen Fire to re-open.

BGT is a zoo with good coasters. I forgot a lot about this park but its better than BGW, but needs a hyper.

HurricaneGeauga- Just in case
BGT has Kumba and Montu. BGW has Apollo and Alpengeist. I like Montu better than Alpengeist. I like Apollo better than Kumba. Don't get me wrong, I love both parks, coasterwise, they are equal. But, i prefer BGT, it's just a matter of opinion, Although Apollo is in my top 3 coasters, All of the Busch B&M's are in my top 10.

"Thank you for challenging the Raging Bull. We hope you enjoy the rest of you're day, here at Six Flags Great America."
They are both the same Tampa has Montu and Kumba and BGW has Alpengist and Apollo.
yeah but BGW has Lochness and big bad wolf. But BGT have the best caoster of an coaster in the world, MONTU. who cares there both great parks

Montu, God Of Coasters
They are not "both the same." BGW is very different from BGT.

Parks for 2001: SFEG, Lakeside,Funtown USA, Palace Playland, HP,BGW,PKD,Alton Towers.
I like the coasters at BGW, Apollo's Chariot and Alpengeist. BGT coasters; Montu and Kumba, also look good. Overall, BGW.

I haven't been to either park.

That's just my opinion.

BGW...barely.

Actually, I've never been to either but from looks, BGW.

Wow and in this entire thread, no one has yet mentioned Gwazi. What? Y'all young'uns only like steel coasters now? (j/k) Anyway, I've not been to BGW (and it starting to look like it'll be 2003 before I get there...) but it would be had pressed to beat out BGT. BGT is about as close to the perfect mix of thrill/family park I have been to (HersheyPark is close, but the coasters are a little too tame). If BGW is near that same level, then I may have to speed up my timeline.
