BGW Help needed

Normally I don't do thi, but I have searched high and low on the web and can not find any information regarding promotional discounts for BGW. Do any of the locals know of any discounts that are going on? We will be out there during the second week of August, so if the promotion is to the end of July it won't do us any good. :)

Thanks in advance -DHo

I recommend searching ebay for discount tickets. I got 2 tickets last nigth for a big discount last year! Also if you sort of live down the area I recommend spending the extra loot and getting the passport. Which is good for 3 visist forever. Each time u use it 1 visist will be subtracted but you can use the other visists the following year or what not. Good luck and enjoy your trip!!

Thanks,
DMC

I believe some local county community centers have discount tickets for like 6-7 bucks off. My father can purchase some at the Pentegon thru his work, but that is not available to everyone. I don't think BGW offers too many one day discounts so you might get stuck paying full price if that is all you want.
Crashmando,

Where did you get your information from? When I check the BGW website, there are no tickets that are good forever and everything expires (except the two year platinum passport) at the end of the 2004 season.

If you're an AAA member, you can always get a discount ticket at the Williamsburg office. Sometimes they offer some really good special deals, especially early in the season (April, May).
The Michigan AAA web site was acting as a forwarding portal to Busch's ticket site, giving 10% off single day, print-at-home tickets. However, the promotion appears to no longer be in force. I'm not sure why---perhaps it will be back.

Its that 2 year pass then. I though it was forever. My mistake but its still a good deal!

Thanks,
DMC

I just back back from BGW last week. We found that the 2 day pass was a good deal at $64.95. You did not state how long your visit would be there, but the 2 day pass is an OK deal, and you have the option of going to the water park as well.
Wendys! Every Wendys in the Hampton Roads area has discount coupons for BGW.

I've found that calling the park can also supply good information.

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
