Well there you go. Those of you complaining about a new Tampa coaster can pipe down. :)

Ummm, thanks....I guess. Tell ya what though, throw SOME spinning cars into the mix (riders can choose whether or not to spin), and I'd be willing to call it a deal. With the same ride, I can't count it as another credit if it's just relocated, ROFL...

Seriously though, *spinning* cars...best....idea....ever. Cheapest time to install them would be during relocation.....is this thing even ON? ;)

Those of you hopeing for a wooden coaster may not have to give up hope yet, it could be one of Gravity Group's "micro coasters." "Micro coasters" are a lot like The Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain, which is of course an indoor woddie.

2022 Trips: WDW, Sea World San Diego & Orlando, CP, KI, BGW, Bay Beach, Canobie Lake, Universal Orlando

What if they aren't using the pad where Wild Maus was. But they just had to get ride of it to get a new ride all together. Maybe they are building a woodie back were drachen fire is with a Indoor 40,000 SQ q line. HEHE!!

Thanks,
DMC

Soggy, my first thought was motion simulator, but do they still have the Questor ride system there? Remember 40,000 sq ft is only 200ftx200ft that's not all that big. You can't really fit any coaster that i know of into a space 200ft square. It will either be a dark ride, or it will be a motion simulator.
Would an indoor coaster like Outer Limits fit in 40,000?

Now why would BGW even want an FOF clone when PKD's is about an hour away? but then again you'd have to ask SFA that same question after installing JJ back in 99.

I'd agree with Rolacostaking on the fact that it's probably just gonna be an indoor dark ride or simulator,BGW seems to like those type of rides lately & what with PKD's dark ride coming in 04 you'd think they might want to try & cash in on the family market.

Remember this: families bring in alot more revenue for a park than the thrillseeking crowd & it's that fact that the parks are banking on.

The article calls this upcoming attraction a "ride experience" which makes me think that it will incorporate multiple ride elements and possibly theatrical features into one attraction. Being that this is at an Anheuser-Busch park, along with Sea World, has anyone considered that this could be an attraction similar to Journey to Atlantis at Sea World? Atlantis is a combination water ride, coaster, and dark ride in and around a large building. Could something on that idea be coming to BGW?

gator: I'm not ecstatic about the "new" coaster either. It is, however a step up from attractions BGT has recieved since Gwazi. Spinning cars would be great, but even with that nice touch, I would almost rather see some flats for this flat deprived park.

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

I'm no expert but I would think that if a mouse wasn't designed for spinning cars, its structure couldn't handle them. Maybe a redesign of the supports would work. It would be an interesting transformation if BGT is willing to spend some time and money. I don't forsee it though because I remember reading somewhere that they were already spending millions on a HUGE new show.

An indoor "Mini Woodie" at BGT sounds like a perfect fit. Let me repeat; PERFECT. I haven't been on LoCOSMo, but from what I have seen it looks fantastic. Does anyone remember how large the building enclosing that ride is? How is capacity? I know that these questions aren't really importiant because these things could be changed, of course.

I do not believe that a Journey To Atlantis type ride would work a BGW because it would be way to similar to Escape From Pompei, especially if the watercoaster was enclosed in a building.

IMHO, of course.

The capacity of the Lost Coaster is about 240pph. Sounds great for a park like BGW!

Ha! You want Flat deprived? SFOG only has an Bumper Cars, Enterprise and a Looping Pirate Ship.

Dukeis#1, since BGT and SFoG are among my home parks, let me say this....SFoG also has Great Gasp, the first-gen drop ride, the Hanson Cars, Riverview Carousel, Acro, and likely some other stuff I can't think of right now...definitely not the best park in terms of flats, but *miles* above BGT.
Any one know when they are going to announce this? I am so excited!! (--- does back flips and jumps for joy!!
