BGW 5/2/02...quick coaster fix

well, got off work early, and after my daily workout at Golds Gym, decided to head down I64 and get a few hours at BGW....it was a super nice day for it!! low 70's breezy, and the park wasnt very crowded at all....

anyway, on to the rides....2 rides on Apollos Chariot, both back seat....i do really love this ride, but after experiencing S:ROS, ive finally decided that i do enjoy Intamin hypers over B&M...but still an awesome ride:)

1 back seat ride on Big Bad Wolf....again, the hangtime at the top of the second drop i sjust butter!! i love it! this summer i will get to ride Top gun at PKI and Iron Dragon at CP....we shall see if they top this bad boy:)

5, count 'em, 5 back seat rides on Alpengeist!! awesome!! you know, i forgot how powerful that back seat is in the cobra roll...its so amazing, you feel like your feet might literally fly off!!

2 back seat rides on Loch Ness....amazing that all Arrow coasters cant age as well as this thing is:) i mean, yeah its got its rough spots, but put it up against Anaconda at PKD....Loch Ness is 13 years older, and just runs so much smoother. anyways, gotta love that first drop...the airtime is massive:)

oh yeah, 1 ride on Wild Maus.....love that thing:) although i still think they could tame those brakes a tad...

all in all, an awesome day!! BGW just holds this charm that i cant find anywhere else:)

I'll be there 5/25. I'm still trying to decide if I'm gonna ride Alp. and BBW first in the back or front, since I might not get to ride twice (but here's to hoping). Both have restricted view if not in the front. AP, I'll ride in the back first. Lochness, I don't care where.

Well I know Iron Dragon won't be better than BBW, but that is my own opinion. I've ridden Top Gun at PKI too, and it is a very intense but quick coaster!
