First off, I must say Busch Gardens Williamsburg is one of the, if not the, nicest parks I have ever visited. I did not get on Loch Ness Monster due to bad storms, and I was on a very short time schedule. But I did however ride Apollo's Chariot, Alpengeist, and Big Bad Wolf(where coasters are concerned).
Coasters (scale of 1-5)
Apollo's Chariot - 5 - Wow. What a ride! The air-time is unbelievable. This was by far my favorite ride in the park. I was surprised at the short lift hill, I expected it to be much longer. B&M really made a winner with this one.
Alpengeist - 4 - This is one hell of an inverted coaster! Not my favorite (Raptor will always hold that spot) but definitely number two. Again, short lift hill which I loved. The theme was incredible. It is a visually stunning ride. I felt a little pain in the cobra roll, but other than that, it was close to perfect in all aspects.
Big Bad Wolf - 3 - For an Arrow, not bad at all. I was a little rough, but not by much. The first half was awesome. Fast turns, a total dizzying array of fun. The second half was a bit too short. I expected a bit more after the second lift. The water was a great effect though. Personally, I thought the theme could be more appreciated if it was visible from off the ride.
Other
Escape From Pompeii - 4 - One of the best of its kind. The fire inside was a bit hot, and didn't work too well to cool you down. I though standing beside it and catching the splash would have been cooler than the ride itself. But overall, it is a great ride.
I was on a very tight schedule and wasn't able to do much else in the park. I found the park to be quite confusing to find your way around in. The rides are outstanding, and BGW has some of the best food. But other than that, I wasn't too impressed. I did like it, just a little too confusing. The employees were very friendly and helpful, and I did feel bad that they all had to wave at the train as it went by :). All in all a wonderful park with top notch rides.
You forgot to ride Nessie and Wild Maus.

The reason AC's lift is so short is because it is only 170ft. its drop is 210ft!

I understand it's only 170, but I still expected it to be a little longer, that's all :)
