BGT Tuesday 3/26

Associated parks:
None

When we first arrived, we had a little breakfast. Then we headed off to Montu.

My rating system: 1 smile=worst, 5 smiles=best.

Montu 2 laps :):):):):)

Ah, it’s great to be back on my favorite inverted, and one of my favorite coasters. There was a little delay while they put the third train on, but it was pretty short. We got two quick rides in, one in the front seat. I wouldn’t normally complain about something like this, but the midcourse brakes were on quite hard. Still, the rest of the ride (Batwing and all) kick!

Next, we went over to Gwazi. Last time we were here, it was being constructed, so I was excited to ride it. We opted for Tiger first, since the line looked shorter.

Tiger 1 lap :):):)

Tiger was fast and furious. It was also pretty rough. I didn’t feel much later but that would change later in the day on Lion. It really is too bad they don’t duel them. Maybe for next year!

Then we took a slow walk around through Land Of The Dragons, seeing animals and getting some food. It was extremely hot out, so we waited an hour for the flume.

Stanley Falls 1 splashdown :):):)

What I enjoy about this flume is that it has two nice sized drops. Busch could stand to put a little theming in their water rides, though. SWO and BGW have nicely themed water rides, but it seems like BGT got gyped.

We skipped Python because it is one of the very few coasters I just don’t want to ride. I still wonder why BGT has still held on to this thing. So it was off to Scorpion which greeted us with a one train operation, a nearly full queue, and a sign that posted a 90 minute wait. Sorry Anton, I still love ya! So I came up with a much better idea involving the big green one.

Kumba 2 laps :):):):):)

What intensity, what speed, what fun! We had to wait again while they put the third train on. No problem. The crew was really cranking out the trains one after another. I love the long layout of this coaster, B&M at their best again.

Rhino Rally 1 adventure :):):):)

Next up, the suprise of the trip, Rhino Rally. Long wait, but a fun little course they built. Even though the jokes were lame, I still laughed and had a good time. I guess it all depends if you get a good guide...Anyway, the river part was clever, and the whole experience was much better than I thought. Good job, Busch!

Finally it was back to Lion.

Lion 1 lap :):):):)

Wow, this was great! I got a lot of unexpected airtime, and it was fast and thrilling to the finish. This is the GCI I know! I may have given it a five if it weren't for the bad loading (haven't heard that one before) and the non-dueling. Still, a fantastic ride.

That was it for our trip to BGT. I love this park with the outstanding duo of Montu and Kumba. The addition of Gwazi is certainly nice, but I would like to see them duel it. I hope the hold onto Scorpion for a long time to come, but there really is no need for Python. With two other better steel loopers in the park, I think they should replace it. Maybe with something different, say Intamin?

Nice TR. PGA is still the best. ( Inside joke)

So what is better? SFMM or CP? I don't care! They both have 29 coasters between them that they build so we can have a good time!

Your an idiot

Python is probably ok, What are you to good for it?

No, I think you're an idiot. Why? Because you get worked up that I don't like a ride, and chose not to ride it. Do you really think I'm going to like a short, head-bashing 2 corkscrew ride, as opposed to a giant, long, smooth, fun coaster? I think not. I have enjoyed other Arrow coasters, such as Sidewinder and Corkscrew (CP), and Anaconda, but not this one.

Whoa there, I'm assuming he's been on it before, frankly, this is just a plain old corckscrew, nothing special about it. He's not an idiot for choosing to skip a ride that he doesn't like. I skip Whizzer at SFGAm all the time because I've ridden it before, and I just don't see anything speical about it unless you're on a date, does that make me an idiot?

Dude, that was pretty rude!

Anyhoo, PT300, nice TR. You really should have gotten a lap on Python. It is not a bad Arrow and has little headbanging. I was expecting worse. Interesting you found Lion a better ride. I got a better ride on Tiger and airtime to boot. Also if you ask the attendants to duel them and they arent too busy they will do it for you. I did it in February and my whole train cheered me! Ah the conquering hero. Where we do agree is on Montu one of the best coasters in Florida. Midcourse was on hard for me too, but I have a feeling that the end was still very excellent unlike some unbelievers out there. I have yet to feel this so called trim before the batwing.

This, MikeMir87, is how you respectfully disagree with someone's totally valid opinion.

Yeah, I probably could have given Python a second chance, but what's the need when you have the big green one?

As for Gwazi, that is strange how you found Tiger was better. When I asked them to duel, the guy looked at me like I was insane. Must have been too busy.

Finally, on Montu, yes the trim was there, but it didn't take anything away from the Batwing.

I never ride Python either. Don't feel bad. And, I find something deliciously ironic about saying "your an idiot."
