"For the 1st time in its history, Busch Gardens Europe has won the prestigious award for being the "World's Best Theme Park." Last year, the park's new Darkastle attraction received the "best new attraction for 2005!" The Park was voted on in both categories just mentioned by Themepark Insider, a website devoted to the theme and amusement park industry in general. 12,000 registered members of the site were the only ones allowed to vote on what they thought was the best theme park in the world. "This is a tremendous honor for Busch Gardens Europe and all of its employees because it acknowledges not only our great rides and shows, but also our beauty, theming, dedicated world-class guest service and overall park experience,” stated Donnie Mills, executive vice president and general manager for Busch Gardens Europe!"

Wow! Finaly Busch Gardens Europe gets the reconition that it deserves.

Hey I know they're going for the European theme and all, but it's still only July 6th in Europe. :)
Those sneaky Europeans!
See what happens when you don't break the 400 foot mark. :)

I just want to congratulate BGE for this. I mean, really, winning this award accounts for nothing really, except bragging rights I guess, but then who's really listening? Besides that, I LOVE this park, and have made it a point to visit at least once a year. Even with its somewhat small collection of coasters, they all rock, and both Apollo and Alpie have a special place in my book. Not only that, the landscaping and scenery is amazing, which Im sure you all know, and I really cant think of any park Ive been to in the U.S that deserves the Best Theme Park credit more than anyone else. That being said, keep it up BGE, and Ill be visiting for years to come looking forward to and welcoming any new additions that you may see fit. BTW: I enjoyed Darkastle. Yes, not Spiderman, but still, a fun addition to an already amazing park. (I do like the ride more than the Wilde Maus once there. Dont you guys?)
I cannot wait for BGE new coaster for 2007. I wonder what it is. To bad they had to remover Le Mans Raceway. :(
