BGE 2006 passport

This is my first year purchasing a passport for Busch Gardens. I printed the voucher and it says to just take it to the turnstiles. They say that don't take pictures anymore. My question is: After you go through the turnstiles, are you supposed to go elsewhere to get the actual passport card? Or do you use the kiosk at the front gate to print the voucher every time you visit the park?

I am sure you will get a card of some sort, and probably a hand print taken. Maybe call the park?

If they say go to the turnstiles, then do so. The Season Pass office is on your right in Banburry Cross before the Globe theatere. If you have not yet recieved your pass yet then I would suggest going there.

You can go to the self serve passport kiosks to the left of the main ticket booths and scan in your print out and receive your pass. It's the same as a one day ticket to the untrained eye, but, the back will have your pass info on it. Once you've got that pass(ticket) proceed to the turnstiles. Your first trip in will have you electronically measuring your hand for future visits.

Once in the park go to the season pass office and get a clear pass sleeve and a lanyard, if you wear your pass around your neck you'll bemore inclined to remember to get the pass discount on merchandise and food.

Also remember to tuck it inside your shirt when you're coastering.

Have Fun

^Just be sure to get the plastic sleeve, or else Roman Rapids/Escape From Pompeii/Le Scoot might destroy your SP.

Is the plastic sleeve and lanyard included in the price of a pass?
Thanks guys! I'm going to the park tomorrow!
BG passes were a beef me and a friend of mine had with Busch one year, and we're still not crazy about it. It probably saves them money and makes things easier for them, but I'd much rather have a plastic card again, even if we still have to do the hand scan thing.

Along those lines, what do y'all think if Busch started doing their passes like the retail store discount tabs? Ya know, the little tabs with a barcode that you put on your keyring. Anyway, it might be a nice little cool extra thing for them to give you (along with a regular card). The passes are pricey--you'd think they would at least give you a decent plastic card. These are less easily damaged, anyway.
