Best way to get to SFWoA from Columbus

I'm going for the first time on Wednesday and I'm also new to the area (although I did live in another part of Ohio a couple of years ago). Anyway I remember a post where some people had better ways of getting to the park than the 'official' directions. Also how much is parking, and how long will the drive take (going slightly faster than the speed limit)? Any info will help.

It'll be my first time riding a flying dutchman, impulse, SLC, Boomerang, floorless and first time on a wooden coaster with steel supports. Hopefully the weather and crowd will comply with my coaster craving ways. Also, is it worth paying the extra 10 bucks for the fast pass? Thanks again.
Take I-71 north to I-271 north (sign would say to Erie, PA). Take I-271 to US Route 422 East (sign would say to Warren). Take 422 to Route 91 (Solon exit). Make a right at traffic signal. Go to Route 43(Aurora Road) and make a left. Take 43 directly to park.

What X Factor said for directions. Depending on the time of day, you should be able to do it in about 2.5 hours, but keep in mind you have to deal with construction on I-71 from downtown Columbus up through various parts of the I-71 corridor. Watch for the fuzz especially north of US 30 all the way up to I-76. Ditto for SR 422.
