The pass being sold at specific locations for a $10 discount is not unheard of...but to think that somehow something would be sold at a $60 discount is ludicrous.Hmm, so it was ludicrous when I bought my IOA/USF annual pass (with a regular $159 pricetag) for $99 this year? That's what, exactly a $60 savings, no?
Joe, who thinks people need to chill a bit

Where did you get that discount? from IOA/USF or a local grocery store?

There seems to be a strong condescending tone from a few posters here lately, and I wish it would go. Everyone was new to this hobby at one point, let's not scare them off with all our "knowledge." A little helpful attitude goes a long way.
JC, who also says "search a little harder next time, please!" :)

My original response was not very argumentative, only when CUBlink "slammed" me, did my tone take on a harsh tone.

Ludicrous, maybe...But down here you can get a season pass to SFoG for only 49 dollars at publix. Not to mention a one day pass for 23 dollars. Both are nearly 50% off the regular price. So no the question was not stupid

Yes we were all new at one point. Hell.. I consider myself to be a rookie. But when I want to know something, I go to the source. It only seems like common sense to me. The information is presented to inform potential visitors. If I came across as a jerk, it is only because the original answer was common sense and could have been found with no park knowledge
In regards to reduced passes, I would certainly be asking about them especially if I knew I could knock off half of the price. Good luck to the bargain shoppers.

I don't know where you learned math, CUBlink, but $49 is nowhere "nearly 50% off" of $57.75. Check SFoG's season pass page...
My apologies the prices go up as the season goes on. However it is true that that $23 one day pass iis almost 50% off.

I couldn't agree more. This is supposed to be a place to share knowledge and ideas. If you don't have something positive to add, don't post.

wow some of u arnt too friendly. i figured everyone is here consedering we are coaster fans
I'm friendly!!! I just send some flames back to the flamers. I am not by any means a coaster know-it-all so I like to ask questions. I love the response I get on this board (insert sarcasm). Thanks to everyone willing to help out and not look for a reason to flame people. It's rather childish.
