Best Song While Riding a Coaster

Sunday, March 4, 2001 2:55 PM
Hey all, what do you people think is the best song to listen to while on a coaster, if you were able time it perfectly with the first drop, or the launch. I think some KoRn songs like Blind, It's On, and Falling Away From Me would be pretty good. What do you people think?

Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" would be a good one to coast to.

Rollin - Limp Bizkut.

Perfect intro for the lift hill and loud lyrics for the rest of the song.

If you can sneak a walkman on Magnum at Cedar Point play Disarm by Smashing Pumpkins, close your eyes and enjoy the peace.

Hypersonic rules! Foo Fighters all the way! For a launched, Deftone's Heapup would be good. I don't know, whatever floats your boat though!

There. Those are a few from the past. Personally, I'd take most anything accept for techno, opera, or country. Preferably OI! (punk).

Right on Intamin2K! I think I've said this in another thread back there, but for me it'd be something heavy, like P.O.D. or Project 86 or the like. Something that matches the excitement of a coaster (or comes as close as possible)...

Yea StandUpFan! I saw POD and Project 86 back in November on the Kings of the Game Tour. They have some good songs to coast to.

The only music I need is the rush of the wind, the roar of the wheels, and the shrieks of the other riders.

Rollin by Limp Bizkit is a good choice, but you can't forget Love Rollercoaster by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. LoL.

Linkin Park's "One Step Closer" could be good, as long as it is time so they say "break" right as the train starts it's descent.

Actually, many songs go perfectly with the track of a roller coaster. Look at a video of Millennium Force while listening to Rammestein's Du Hast or The Incredible Hulk with Powerman 5000's When Worlds Collide. It's REALLY cool how the music complements the ride's twists, turns and inversions.
