Best roller coaster roads.

There's this one road in Wisconsin that has tons of little airtime hills. We used to call them Roller Coaster Hills. They're like half an hour from Madison. To come to think of it I haven't been to those hills in years.
When I was much younger (and a bit out of control) we used to take a steep hill in my neighborhood in Michigan at 60-70 mph in a Volkswagon Beetle. The car would go completely airborne. And that stupid little Bug would just kind of bounce when it landed. Best air I've ever had, although now I feel fortunate to be alive.

Its just like my dad always says: Denver's flat. You might not get it but he said it as we went through an extremelly hilly section of it's downtown...

My vote goes to I 280 between San Jose and San Francisco. Not opnly do you get killer laterals from the hellish corners, but they have some ripples right before the Half moon bay exit....hot diggity!!!. Add the "most beautiful freeway" badge and you have a winner. Janfrederick... I know you have my back on this one!

Hey Den. Did you mean I70 or I470. 70 comes out of the tunnel and over the bridge in to Ohio. 470 comes down the huge hill, over the bridge, and into Ohio.

I live on the OH-WV border(IN Ohio). There are too many roads to mention that give you that coaster feel. We are in the foothills of the mountains and there are tons of old farm roads. One road has a triple dip and you can get great air at 75mph.

Shut it up!

Most of the roads here in Western Pa. Not only are there a lot of hills and tight turns, they are rougher than most woodies.

I regret to inform you that Cedar Point's newest roller coaster, Top Thrill Dragster will not be operational today, or tomorrow or probably any day that you decide to visit our park. Please accept our apologies.

In Zanesville there is a Route 666. Yup! 666! It is the most twisted up road ever!! No air though. (Yes, we have had many religious protests against Rte 666)

There is also Route 83 here, which is very twisted and has several insane air pops.

There's a good "air" hill in Seattle, that Peabody, Robocoaster, Legendary, and Badnitrus have all experienced. It depends on your speed, but I saw a cop car fly off the edge on it back in 89. Mega air, and his tires even shredded a little. LOL! :0

There is this one really cool road between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek Michigan. Its called Doster road and it has a series of airtime hills with little bunny hops with ejector airtime for a car and some big hills for great floating airtime plus there are a few curving hils. You get all of this while doing the speed limit of 45 mph. Although its a lot more fun doing it at 80 mph.

Oh man. This is one competition that is easily won by New Orleans, home to some of the largest pot holes in the world! There are some streets that just send you flying up and down.
Pope's Head Road in Fairfax, Virginia is the best rollercoaster road i know of. lots of hills and tight turns. my 98 cadillac ETC loves it! =)
yes i know what you mean i used to put my hands up when going down hill when i was a little kid my family would always look at me like im weird lol
I don't know what road it was, it was a backroad, but it made everone in the car think of a roller coaster. It was like up to left, down to the right, up to left, down to the right, up to left, down to the right and it went on for maybe ten hills. It was somewhere in Wisconsin.

Rearrange that and you get...

I found a road on the way to Holiday World last yea that would give Shivering Timbers a Run for its money SR66 between Salem and US 150. It was perfecly straight but was one bunny hop after another for several miles.

Try to find a straight, flat patch of road anywhere in Southern Indiana. Just try. :)

There is a road actually named Rollercoaster road in

Pennsylvania. It is located off I-80 Brookville exit on rt. 36.

It is about four miles south of Brookville. It is about 2 miles long and starts out with climb toa peak by a cemetary and drops around 200 ft down the other side. Five or six flat topped hills follow. Each hill has steep climbouts and pullouts and are around 40 to 50ft high. lots of scrapes in

pavement at the base of the hills from crazy farmers flying

down this road and bottoming out.

Any non-4-lane highway in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Even though the ATV trails are so filled with sudden movement it's no wonder why we don't have an Amusement Park (with Roller Coasters).

Speaking of terrain...Does Anyone else really like the feel of terrain coasters? The Black Hills would be awesome for a park like Ghost Town, or Dollywood. Of course SFMM incorporates some terrain coasters (Revolution, Gold Rusher, Ninja).

Now Antuan, you have a memory!!! Yup, wonderful freeway. My ex lived in Sausalito and I worked in Mountain View. You take the 680, through the city (avoiding 19th ave) and through Golden Gate Park, then across the Golden Gate bridge, and you have one of the most pleasant commutes ever.

Also got to throw in the infamous 680 "dip" near Martinez. Caltrans is always trying to fix it, but it keeps sinking. It's downright scary if you don't expect it. :)
