Best Rides

I was just wondering, in RCT2, what are the best gentle rides, flats and rollercoasters. And which rollercoaster is cheap to build but very good?
What's amazing is that the smallest coaster can be very crowd appealing. Even those little mini- coasters tend to draw a big line (Hint: Cheap).Best Flats that have always done well for me is diffinately the 3D show, Simulator, and Go-Karts. Best Gentle I would say the Ferris Wheel.
I have seen flying carpet rides draw huge crowds, but almost anything will pack 'em in when it's new.

Wild Mouse coasters seem to bring in the most crowds for me.

3-Yankee Cannonball

It occurs to me now that perhaps one shuuld be careful of the difference between rides that generate lines because they are popular and rides that generate lines because they have low capacity. Most of the rides that we have mentioned here are, I think, in the latter category -- with the exception of the gentle coasters.

I like building the Wooden Wild Mouse when I first start a new game. I don't make it a huge ride. As long as it's short under 1200 feet of track, and intense it should be a good money maker and pack the peeps in as long as it's not super expensive.

On my last park I made one that took up a 5 X 8 block area and it had a 6 somthing excitement and a ride time of about 30 seconds. It had 6 cars or so and was just long enough to keep one train in the station at all times.

Go Karts like Crazed said is a great money maker too. Build a long station so you can have a bunch of cars, make the track fairly short and have it do 5 or so laps. At $5 a ride or so it should rake in money rather deciently.

Log Flumes are peep's favorite. Everytime I build one, I make sure the que is extra long.

I find Magic Carpets to be the most popular flat. Twist with the rotations up all the way also is pretty good. Wild Mouses can be cheap and very crowd-pleasing.

Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England- The #1 Coaster on the Planet for Years in a Row!!!

For some reason I always add a floorless to the park first whenever starting a new game.
