Hey everyone! I was wondering, what is the best experience you had while waiting for a ride or while on the ride waiting to leave. My best experience was the first time on Goldrusher(really the BEST ride ever) at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The ride ops made everyone happy and energetic. They would give you high fives as you started to leave the station and say "Get ready for the best coaster in the west!" They were soooo funny. Last time I went, the same thing. They are the coolest ride ops in the world. Even though it isn't the biggest or best in many peoples opinion, it remains a must ride everytime I go there.

Deja Vu - Think you've experienced it before...think again!
X - Xperience the Xtreme - It breaks all the rules!
Holiday World. Anyone else who has been there would agree.

Six Flags Great America, without a doubt! ;)
I could have watched the ride operaters operate on Flashback but I didnt.

Enjoy Your Ride On Goliath
Out of the parks I have been to I would have to say The Point and SFStL. The worst I have encountered were at SFGL.

The newest joke at SFWoA is if another ride op screws up the other ride op yells, "Guests please don't be afraid, he/she worked on the other side. Also on Double Loop a ride op said this before departing, "Get ready to ride the tallest, fastest, roller coaster, THE DOUBLE LOOP!, you'll be taken up a 50 ft. hill, dropped, go 94 mph, then go through 2, yes 2 amazing loops, then the ride's over, see you back in 35 seconds.

True of all great coasters of the past and present, and future
it's a ride you'll remember for the rest of your lifeand probably will want to ride again.
I think the best ride ops are the ones for The Beast and SOB at PKI. They are fast, and if you ask them to stop it at the top, they will (at least on the Beast :) )

the Beasts` Den
Holiday World. No contest.
Honorable mention goes to all the cool cats at CP and on the beast at PKI.

The Girl for roar they allwas Sing nanananaHaHaha last ride an give you 10 BUCKS
Holiday World. Where else do they offer to hold your glasses or hat while you ride?

Without upstops, airtime would have a whole new meaning.
Holiday World or Busch Gardens Williamsburg. But i gotta give props to the ops at SFGAm
Um about the handslapping thing. At the parks I work at here in Vegas, if we did that we'd be fired on the spot. Thats considered a saftey violation as you can get your or the guests hand dislocated.

"ok everyone go ahead and pull down on your shoulder restraint so you feel nice and stuck!"
I think I have a biased opinion, but it's still mine! I like the ride ops at CP on the Mean Streak! Just ride it about 20 times in the afternoon, almost closing time when there is no one in line, except for about maybe five or so people and sit in front. Yell WOO HAH a lot and they're pretty fun people. Then when they ask you to finish the sentence over the little speakers "And enjoy the rest of your day here at..." "WOO HAH!!!"
2001 Mean Streak Staff, second to none.

I did it like this, I did it like that, I didn it with a wiffle ball bat.. ohhh

Two shout-outs for the Beast Crew!!! Yipee!!! Thanks for the recognition!!! We hope to keep up the good work.

"This is just a reminder to all Beast riders that the louder you are the faster the Beast will go!!!"-Beast Crew 2001
I think some of the funniest ride ops are on Power Tower at CP. At Coaster Mania they saw these two girls that were really scared, so when the ride op said clear he followed it with an evil laugh and then they were launched.

CP in 2002, get to the point
I actually think that SFGAM has good ride ops.
I would have to say CP and BUSCH GARDENS TAMPA have the best OPS. SFWOA have the worst!
Holiday World - Fast and friendly,
Busch Gardens Williamsburg - Enthusiastic and Entertaining
Lakemont - Give out ACE applications
Millenium Force crew - Fast and enthusiastic cheerleaders
Tower Of Terror - Great actors, part of the ride
The ride ops at Cedar Pt. seem to be pretty cool.
But the absolute worst ride ops are unfortunately
at my home park, SF America. Last season I was waiting in a line and every other word out of the ops mouths was F this and F that ! I was totally embarrassed for the families with small children.
SF America totally has an extremely unprofessional crew working for them !!!
