Best Place to eat at CP

Well...IMO, only place for a good, quality meal is Fridays at the Breakers.....

Thanks guys n' gals. I didn't know there was a Fridays on the campus....that just happens to be one of my hangout spots in manhattan

You're so contagious, you turn ma pages!

The TGIF at the Breakers gives you a chance to relax and feel like you are outside the park for a while. Technically you are just outside the Breakers gate.

Too many people use legitmate questions as an excuse to complain. The food at CP is no better or worse than any similar location. I would agree with most folks that Midway Market, Johnny Rockets, etc. are some better choices. As for the price . . . Yes, it's higher than your local discount store, but it's not a discount store. Do the math, 2 million unique admissions (not passholders) at $40 a piece is $80 million. Sounds like a lot, but not when you concider the capital expenses, insurance, payroll, utilities, supplies, etc. It adds up quick. Are you willing to pay $60+ per day, and no Season Passes, just so you can have a soda for 75 cents. I'm not.

Even lurkers have to speak up sometimes!

I always go to the parks with the idea that I am NOT going to eat everything in sight. But once I get there I SPEND SPEND SPEND! :)

I've traded in my 2000 Giovanola for a 2002 Arrow X4D :)
My other car is now an Arrow X4D!

I'd have to say that my all time favorite place is Midway Market. All you can eat for 10 bucks! You can't beat it. You could get a few pieces of pizza and drink for the same price, or you could get as much food and as much pop as you want. My question is, do they still have the dollar off discount for Joe Cool members? It doesn't say anything about that on the Joe Cool site.

As for Johny Rockets, I think its a pretty nice place. The food is pretty good and service isn't bad. The Silver Dollar and Boathouse are also nice places.

The two restaurants I haven't had good experiences at were T.G.I. Fridays and Macaronis. It seemed that the service was extremely slow, and I was waiting forever. Maybe I just went on a bad day, but I haven't gone back to those places since.

If you would have read what i said above you get a buck off with joe cool.

The Beast and Night, They go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly

I find Macaroni's, Johnny Rockets and the Midway Market to all be enjoyable places to eat. Especially when compare to what the other Ohio parks have to compare with it. The Wings place at PKI is nasty and I don't recall SFWoA having anything even close to any of the places I've mentioned at CP. I haven't tried TGIF yet. How do the prices and menu compare to the other locations within the TGIF chain?

Dang Steph....as if I don't feel guilty enough for not working out in a week :)....Anyway, I'm not too fussy about atmosphere...as long as its free from insects and garbage.
