Best ime for Deja Vu

Tommorrow I'm going to SFGAm and I was wondering for those of you who have already been there, when is the best time to hit Deja Vu. It's supposed to be really hot, and honestly I don't feel like waiting for an hour for a giant boomerang. I was thinking right when they open the park would be the best, but is it open at 10? Because I remember last year, rides like raging bull, and V2 didn't open like till 10:30 or 11. Well thanks.

I'm going, I'm going, I'm gone!

I was at SFGAm yesterday and I believe DV was open at 10. We could see them testing while we waited for the chain to drop. Of course, as soon as the chain dropped there was a "running of the bulls" to DV. I didn't go there because I needed to get my daughter's season pass processed, by some FastLane passes (no comments please) and, the big reason, my daughter isn't up to trying this yet so I wasn't going to make her wait for me (I have not ridden DV yet).

If you're there early just watch to see if it's testing. If so, it's a good bet it will open soon.

My problem was that V2 was closed the whole time we were there (until 4:30).

HMM. Interesting. DV was open at 10 when arrived on Wednesday.

V2 was also running almost the whole day which makes it's down time yesterday a little odd.

Off to CP in August, Hopefully off to two other parks in July though!! YEA!!!! :-D It will be a good summer!

When I was their earlier this month, it was the first coaster I headed for because when it opens the line fills up like a mofo. They tested the ride for about 3 hrs before they opened it so it kind of sucked watching it test for 3 hrs before opening it, but when they opened it the line filled up very fast so I had to wait about an hour, but it was an hour well worth it. Great ride! Just try to hit it right when it opens.

Yeah. I was there on Fri. and Sat. If you want anything shorter than an hr. you have to hit it right off the bat. On Fri., got to the ride at 11:00 and the line was 1.5 or so the whole day. On Sat., it was an hr. when I got there at 10:15 and got up to 2+ hrs. during the afternoon.

A rollercoaster? What's that?

The best time to ride Deja Vu is 5 minutes before closing. You don't have to wait in that 2 hour line...usually its a 15 minute wait. Plus you get an oppurtunity for a re ride. 5 minutes before closing you get enough people behind you in line to fill up another half train allowing you to get another re ride.
Easy, when it's running :).

I'd have to agree with the right before closing suggestion, however. We did that and it worked out pretty well.
