Best Footchoppers

For me it is definantly Ice Dragon, I could have sworn that my feet would have hit that dang castle wall if I didnt pull them up!

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Montu. The trenches on Montu have some extreme foot-choopers. The Immelman has a great foot-chopper making it seem like your feet are going to hit the egyptian wall.

The Great Noreaster has some insane footchoppers with all the waterslides and stuff, if memory serves me correct.

The wooden platform on the SFGAm Deja Vu can be downright terrifying. It's really close!

Call me crazy, but I seem to recall a close encounter with a support on my local B:TR, which would imply it's on all others, too.

But of the four inverted coasters I've tackled, Deja Vu is by far the best in that department.

Funny you should mention B:TR at Great America. They need to keep better care of the trees around that ride. Last time I was on it and "thwap" got hit in the leg with a small branch and it hurt like a son of a buck. I told the ride op about it and went on my merry way laughing about it but it still hurt.

nemesis all the way. seeing as the whole ride is built in one huge trench below the tree line, i really dont think that you could ever get better footchoppers than that. i personally think the best one can actually be described as a body chooper, not only a foot chopper! racing down the side of a ravine, heading straight towards a pool of 'blood', betting closer and closer, bracing yourself for the impact into the water and pulling up at the very last millisecond to go into a vertical loop is an experience that you wouldnt find on any coaster in the world

Castle wall on Ice Dragon by far is the best I think. It freaks me out everytime. It seems like it just keeps getting closer and closer until finally you pull away!

I have been whipped in the shin by one of those it takes me back way way back when pa would tell me to fetch him a switch fer a good whoopin. They seriously need to trim that area.

"...they came like a winged curse. A twin plague of demonic dragons!" - Dueling Dragons

that was a bad joke, lol. I have to say Talon had some great moments of foot choppers.

You must be this dumb to ride Viper. -SFGAdv.

Yeah, I would say Top Gun at PGA too. It's not really a chopper, but your feet seem to come dangerously close to taking a dip in the water.

"Hey, man! Is that Freedom Rock?! TURN IT UP!!!"

I have to agree many SLCs have good footshoppers, nothing like the afore mentioned, Dueling Dragons (Ice mainly) and Montu.

The trech on Top Gun at PCW, comes close too.

Wow, I guess Vekoma has mastered the foot chopper! Who says they aren't good for anything? ;)

My vote goes to X.

That's what I was thinking - How about the slave tracker that caught Kunte Kinte in Roots.....

Guess I'm showing my age there.

First time on Fire I jerked my feet up at the bottom of the dive into the vertical loop.

X could be in the running now that it has a floor almost the entire length of the ride if they add a few more valley floors!!

Talon is good. Castle wall on Ice wall make you want to be able to pull your legs up. Alpengeist is also a bad@$$ in this category
I vote Dueling Dragons you come with in 18-12in to the the other train or some other object. My second vote would have to be Deja Vu at SFGAm. The blue Floor that drops down looks very sharp so when you go flying through the station it looks like your legs are gonna get cut of also that wooden platform is very close to your feet.

22 diffrent coasters ridden this year

Great Bear Definetly. Theres a few right before the flatspin and a really freaky one right before you hit the brakes.
