Best Food, really.

In my opinion, I really do think that Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri does have the best park food in this country. But no one ever wants to admit it! So who in your opinion has the best food. ps. Is Cedar Point's really that great?
Well I thouroughly enjoyed Canobie Lake Park's food...

#1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!! My top 7 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Montu 3. Yankee Cannonball 4. Kumba 5. Gwazi 6. Cyclone (SFNE) 7. B:DK

Well, the best food ever is in Disney and Universal (Mythos at IOA was GREAT!), but those are unfair to compare to "regular" parks!

I like the nationality foods at Busch Gardens, and Hershey has some neat chocolate treats. I liked the food at Cedar Point.
But Kennywood has the best real food for the most reasonable prices. You can eat dinner there and not feel guilty about clogging up your arteries. And if you like clogged arteries, the Potato Patch and other stands can satisfy that urge, too.

I didn't think Disney's food was any better than the standard SF park last time I went, of course, that was a good 5 years back. The AB parks all have great food.

No, Cedar Point's is not that great, and I will agree with those here that Kennywood is the best and AB parks rate 2nd ...

BullGuy, I was there in 98 and had some spectacular meals.....but those were like real, nice restaraunts inside the park, and not "Food stands"

Best park food I ever had was a wonderful curry dish outside of Tokyo Disney's Splash Mountain. No finding that kidn of food in our Magic Kingdom! :)

In my personal opinion, the best amusement park food out there can be found in the World Showcase in Epcot and at the Brown Derby at Disney MGM. Disney overall has to be the total best park food, and at a decent price (relatively speaking). If I had to choose second-place, it would definitely be BWG though...their food is really incredible.

Kennywood has the best corndogs if you ask me. DelGrosso's has the best pizza (they own the sauce company, go figure) and funnel cake.

For a regular park I'd agree with SDC having the best. But I would say that Disney does have a big advantage, well, being Disney! They are the best, but I wouldn't consider them a regular park.

Coasters at Cedar Point is very good!!!
Glad someone mentioned DelGrosso's. Theur food is excellent, and where else can you get spagetti at a food stand.

I don't know what the big deal about Kennywood's food is, it is not real inexpensive, and the Patato Patch is not God's gift to fries (I know this little place in Denver, PA that has fries that will knock your socks off).

Price is important with the food. Who wants to pay five bucks for some freeze dried burger? Disney and IOA may have good food the the sit downs, but it is a rip off when compaired to some other parks. I think AT may have actually gotten it right when they continue to award KG with the best food Golden Ticket.

Black 7: kennywood's food is the best. People is sleeping on kennywood's skills in food. The funnel cakes with Ice cream and strawberries is the bomb and the chicken strips with cheese fries! If u went there and had a bad food experience then I'm sorry for ya cause it's good when I always go.
Of the parks that I've been to I think IOA has some of the best food (even though it's not the cheepest) and the SF parks I've been to have some really good funnel cakes. Just to keep the compliments going the nachos at CP are really good too.

You think Kennywood's funnel cakes are good? You obviously have not had the funnel cakes at silver dollar city. The funnel cakes, pork rinds, awesome bread-bowl spagetti dishes, home made pies, huge head-size cookies, BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken, Cajun food, the lakeside buger pit, and now during World-Fest, the "Worlds-Fare" where you can sample tons of food from all of the participating countries at Worlds Fest. (Not that I've eaten ALL of these" but you can just smell goodness!!)
Dont forget about all of those gigantic skillets now that is some good eating.
I'm sure there are others, I just can't list all of the food places at SDC.

I really loved the sushi at SFMM, that was an unexpected treat. I really got a kick (and had to snap a picture of) out of PKI's food stand that was simply called "It's Fried". :) Of course my absolute favorite(I'll be feasting on them in less than twelve hours) is Cedar Point's Macho Nachos. Yum!

Summer 03-CP, HP, Canobie, SFNE, SFWOA, and SFGAm.

Busch Gardens in VA has the best food to me. When we were there we ate in Germany and I had some snausage and at Italy I had a sampler of everything which was amazing. Although I havent been to Disney in a while, so I can't say how good theirs was. And Cedar Points is just all around above average. It's not absolutely amazing, but everything is good enough with consistency around the park that it doesn't suprise me when they win the award for best food.

If you know which resturants to choose (Amber waves, Chicken Dinner Resturant, Ghost Town Grill, and funnel cake), knotts is very very good. Now, for the walk up resturants its a mixed bag.
Personally, I do like a lot of cp's foods. Those huge fries with vinegar and salt all over them, mmmmm.
(Although, I did bite down hard on a rock or something that was in a fry, and I told a sweep, and she didn't care. But that's another story) But I just loooove the Busch Gardens food. The best is in Germany.
