Best CP entrance?

I was wondering, if you are not a guest of the Hotel Breakers, are you still able to enter Cedar Point at the Breakers/Soak City entrance that is near the Magnum? If so, how do you go about getting there (parking), and are resort guests able to get in a half hour early at that gate? If someone could let me know about these questions, that'd be great! Thanks!
DILinator, You can enter through the Breakers/Soak City entrance as long as you are a Hotel Breakers, Camp Village, Sand Castle, or Lighthouse Point guest. From the other Cedar Point Resorts besides Breakers(that are located on the Cedar Point penisula) there's a board walk for you to get to the entrance so its about a 2 min walk. Parking will be outside the hotel which your staying at. Remember you must be staying in a Cedar Point penisula resort. Lastly, if you are a guest you are able to get into the park a half-hour early with a pass you can receive at the front counter (You will be able to ride only MF and TTD during this early entry tho) Any more questions just check out their website.

Yeah, you are able to use any entrance that you want to. When coming up the causeway, go to the left most lane, it will be a big building... go straight from there and follow the road around the park (go the speed limit!) to the soak city lot... it will be past mean streak. Park the car, walk around the go-karts, and you're there!

I don't know where the last guy got his info from.

I don't know where CRaZedFaNaTiC got his info at eitheir. When you go through the booths, just take Perimeter Rd. like Jess said. Have a good time!

I am staying at the Breakers Express, so does that matter? As I understand it now from what I've read, I can park there. I just need to go around the park on Perimeter Rd. to the Soak City parking lot. Hopefully this is a correct interpretation of the above info. Thanks to all who have posted a reply!
Two additional questions for Those In The Know.....

Can you buy midway entrance tickets at the Magnum/Soak City entrance?

If not, can you walk to that entrance from the main ticket booths?

Thanks,
EV

Victor, I've got both answers, but I have a third question.

Yes, you can buy midway tickets at the Magnum/Soak City entrance.

No, you can NOT walk to that entrance from the main ticket booth. You either have to park over at the Soak City lot or walk over from Hotel Breakers or Sandcastle or take the shuttle that goes around the peninsula (though I don't know if that is only for hotel guests or not).

My questions is, at what time does the Magnum (or Marina) ticket booth open? I know I can buy discounted tickets at the hotel but as a Cedar Fair investor I can get them cheaper at the gate (unless I can use the 2-for-1's at the hotel -- which back in 2001 I was NOT able to). So, what time do the ticket booths open? Early enough for the resort ERT in the morning?

What about the enterance by WT/pinic pavillions the so called "beach" enterance is that one closer to the TTD enterance then the "Magnum" entrance?

Another bonus to the back entrance is that you get to drive *really* close to Millennium Force, Mean Streak, Gemini, Magnum, Blue Streak and Wildcat, and get some interesting views you don't get from inside the park. You even drive under Magnum.
