Best coaster endings

I'd have to say CP wins as the park with the best coaster endings hands down. you can't beat Gemini's helices, Raptor's final helix, Iron Dragon's pretzel, Mine Ride's helix, MF's overbanked turn above the que, and even Magnum's proud little prace around the station after the final brake run, to feel like you've accomplished something!
Am I missing any?

Hands down, Top Gun at PGA.

Well, if you consider the double helix to be the "end of the ride", then the Beast easily gets my vote.

While CP has lots of good helix endings, The Beast's helix handily outshines them all. It has it's own lift hill for goodness sake!

"X" marks the spot in 2001!

Ah, I would say S:ROS. It ends when the coaster still has alot of momentum therefore the ride ends almost abruptly!

I would have to say any coaster that does not have a lift hill at the end of the ride. How bad to enjoy the ride only to have to sit back and endure the chain lift back up to the station.

Duh, its a freebee...The Beast has the best coaster ending. The 18degree drop of 144' is just exillarating. It slowly picks up speed but before you know it ur goin 64.788mph and gettin lateral g's. the next time round same thing but with a head/hand choper effect. Can't beat it.

You can't run and you can't hide...The Beast at PKI

I agree with CPcyclone, every one of the coasters you mentioned have terrific endings. I've thought of so many parks in my head and can't think of any that compete. Iron Dragon's ending is the best of any suspended.

I'm not sure if the the double Helix on the Beast is the ending....because there is a very, very long straight away after that, with a small dip I believe. But it is no doubt the best helix of any coaster.

the ending of the Beast is the double helix! Iron Dragon, to me was a boring ride and even the ending was boring.

Well, the Texas Giant's reputation for one of the best endings around is well deserved. Other wood coasters that pop to mind are Phoenix, Raven, Legend, Rampage, Megazeph, Cyclops, and Ghostrider.

Among steel, Top Gun at PGA, Mindbender at SFOG, and Superman at SFDL (especially before the trim was installed) all stand out.

mike (never happy to see any coaster ride end)

Hello? How about that tight, low to the ground figure-8 at the end of Raging Bull!? That was the most exhilarating ending I've ever been on!

"Help! Help! I'm being repressed!"

Yes, I must say Texas Giant's ending is wonderful, even better than Ghostrider's awesome ending. I also love the ending spike on Montezooma's revenge.
