To top it off, the stall walls were built so high up off of the floor, you could practically see under them without wanting to. The cracks, between the door and stall walls were so wide, you gave everyone passing through the restroom a free show.
I am no prude, but there are certain things I just do not want to see, or have others see in me.
And, of course as fate would have it, no toilet paper.
Yuk.

I think they really need to expand the one servicing SWT & LTMT though because what with the terrible food they serve at hollywood cafe they're gonna need it.
Number of stalls (more is better)
Stalls that are longer, and taller partitions
Dividers between urinals
Roominess (general area between the toilets/urinals/sinks)
The BGW Festhaus is one of the better, because there are so many stalls, not to mention they were cleaning them when I went in.
Some at PKI and PKD were in the better category. However, a few at PKI are a bit too squeezed.
Poor/bad bathrooms:
Urinals are practically attached to another, and those tiny ones as well.
When it comes to stalls, best to either have a door that locks, or none at all - struggling to keep the door closed is a pain.
One of my bigger pet peeves is those bathrooms that have a small amount of stalls/fixtures. The one between TTD and Magnum at CP is way overused with only 3 stalls for men - which makes the smell worse.
SFWOA's were in bad condition and smell, but that changed when they became GL. SFKK can get pretty dirty as well.
The ones at Indiana Beach weren't too great either with the short lengths and doors without locks, and the smaller round home-style fixtures. And a large gap in the back.
In short, its the little things that can make or break a park. Low-capacity dirty bathrooms can break it.

no toilet paper.
When I was in college, we called it "white gold", because that's what it's worth when you run out.
Knoebels are pretty bad, but only because they haven't been remodeled for a good 30 years. They are just very old and look that way. I've never been in the bathrooms at Williams Grove as many times as I've been there, but maybe that's a good thing. I think most parks try keeping their bathrooms as clean as possible. I mean, usually if you're not satisfied with the bathrooms, you'll leave the park with an overall negative feeling of the park.
If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

Worst bathroom... that's easy. Astroworld at Coney Island. Absolutely terrifying!
And you have to pay!
I don't generally take too much notice of these things when in parks, but my vote for "Worst Park Bathroom Experience Ever" has to go to Bell's Amusement Park. Truly hideous, much scarier than the dark ride there.
Best - easily - is Tripsdrill in Germany. Anyone who's ever been there will understand without further explanation :) :) *** Edited 3/21/2005 11:55:17 PM UTC by Martin Valt***

I have to say when I made this topic I was sure I was gonna get laughed at. I can't believe there are so many people who actually remember there experiences with bathrooms.
To me, nothing ruins my views on a park quicker than poor quality bathrooms. If they are bad enough, I won't go back to the park. Poor cleanliness, inadequate privacy, poor sanitation, bad smell.
Inadequate privacy is bathrooms that might as well name themselves "sneek peeks." I also don't like doors that fail to lock.
Sanitation at it's worst drives me nuts. The usual culprit are manual faucets with no paper towel. Turn on the faucet, it's contaminated. Wash your hands to get rid of contamination. The second you touch the faucet again, your hands are dirty again. At least with paper towel around you can use it to turn off the faucet without touching the handle again.

^^That'd be a good way for SF to make a quick buck or two....but then again in order for that to pay off you must first bring in the crowds & they're having enough trouble in that department as it is.
I think that the biggest problem for SF is guest satisfaction, for which charging for restrooms certainly won't help. :)
Best: Disneyland. They are clean and usable at almost any time.
Blackpool's bathrooms have "loo of the year" awards hanging on the wall!
