Best 3-D Film/ Motion Simulator Ever Made?

Of all the 3-D/ Simulators that I have ridden. None come close to Spiderman. That ride is just amazing. The way that the 3-D effects work seamlessly with the live action and effects to create a very convincing ride experience.

I don't think that this ride can be topped. No other park is going to spend the kind of money that Universal spent to develop that ride. All the other simulators I have ridden just don't have the kind of immersion that Spiderman does.

Mission Space was pretty cool, but doesn't compare. It's too short of a ride.

I would have to say the best 3-D film is Mickey's PhilharMagic and the best simulator is Mission: Space.

Spiderman by far, mission space equal if not a close second

Huh? :p I *know* that 'by far' and 'close second' should be mutually exclusive, but the internet tells me otherwise.

My favorite simulator ride is Mission: Space, I believe. My favorite 3D film was possible Shrek 4D, though I really adore Muppetvision as well. I prefer the in theater effects of It's Tough to Be a Bug to all, however. Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast was a good combination of the two.

Also, I'm glad at least one person saw Hershey's Really Big 3D show. I thought it was awesome and fun, but not exactly mindblowing.

I consider The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman to be a dark ride moreso than a simulator or 3D film.

Spiderman is my favorite 3-D Dark Ride Motion Experience, and my favorite ride anywhere. Just such well put together mastery.

My favorite rides at USF were BTTF and Terminator 2.

Anyone remember Hanna/Barbara motion simulator at Universal? I think now it's Twister.... I haven't been there in forever... all I can remember is that one was pretty sweet when i was a little kid.

Others I've been on: Spiderman was awesome and the best by far-- Dino island 3d... eh, pretty weak, Superstition, better than previous, Stargate SG-1 is decent, and after opping Space Shuttle America for a year, I am tired of that -_-

Shocks... pegs... lucky! .... you ever take it off any sweet jumps?
Definatly the Muppet 3D ride at MGM.

Hands Down Spiderman! That is the ultimate simulator!
Definitely Spiderman, don´t know anything in the whole world that might even come close to that...

Oh, and because it was mentioned here, I personally think that Mission:Space is the most overrated "ride" of all times. Well, if you can even call it a ride, I would rather call it an oversized centrifuge, something I remember from my chemistry class in highschool, only bigger and with people in it :-) Not to mention the TV screens inside, well...

But that´s just my personal opinion, whoever likes it: Have fun with it and don´t listen to me ;-) *** Edited 7/26/2004 7:44:24 PM UTC by BERLIN***

The best for me was Corkscrew Hill at BGW. Even with the hard ass seats and the antiquited theater, that ride kix major tukuss.

Fate is the path of least resistance.

I rememer that being one of my favorites when I was there as a little(r) kid. That and E.T.

But my favorites are Spiderman, Shrek 4-D (I loved them poking fun at Disney, especially in the preshow), PhilharMagic, and I loved the Pirates show at Thorpe.

I really can't wait to ride the reincarnated Alcatraz at SFGAd, one bacause of the reviews of the old version and two, I rock at flight simulator games.

My vote goes to Bikini Bottom and Crusty Crab as well, but I've not done any of the others you guys talk about...;)
I would have to say that I loved the Spider-Man ride at Universal's Island's of Adventure alot. The glasses that they gave me actually allowed me to see in 3-D for the first time in my life. I also thought the story line was cool and for being a Spider-Man fan, I just had to ride it several times. I also enjoyed another one at the Busch Gardens park in Williamsburg, VA called Corkscrew Hill. Now that one was really cool. If you get a chance to get there, ride it. *** Edited 8/22/2004 6:29:07 AM UTC by DisasterAmy63***
