Best racing/dueling coaster

I've been on several (DD,TS, LR, Gemini, Racer & more) and LIGHTNING RACER wins hands down. From the incredible ride, layout, actual dueling tracks, ability to actually see the competition and thrilling announcement of the winner, this is the best of the aforementioned coasters.

Dueling Dragons is amazing, and the foot to foot crossovers are great, but you can't even SEE the finish of the other coaster!

Even, though I haven't ridden it, I think that Dueling Dragons is one of the best dueling coasters I have seen so far. The collisions points, especially the loops, look really coll. As far as racing coasters, I have been on the Racer at PKI, and Gemini, and the Racer is my favorite.
Lightning Racer by far. Not only is the ride absolutely amazing, the visuals, especially at night, can not be beat. The mass of tracers running every which way is a sight to see.

Six Flags America IS a Six Flags park!
Well, the only racing/dueling I've been on (and isn't it the ONLY one right now?) is Lightning Racer, and it is a really great coaster. I rode this 13 times in a day this summer, and we only won once- the first ride! I was so mad! But the thing that makes this ride even better is those Millenium Flyers!

Is The Matterhorn at Disneyland considered to be a dueling/racing coaster? If not, I think it should be. There are plenty of times where the 2 trains are very near to each other. They even are computer dispached so the timing is right. Not only that, but the 2 sides are seriously different layouts.

As far as track records go, why is this not considered 2 coasters? Sorry if this is a sore subject.

BTW, I still consider parallel double coasters [Gemini(CP), Colossus(SFMM), Racer(Kenny)] to be one coaster.

Gotta ride 'em all!
Duelling Dragons with out a doubt is the best dueller of them all. Gemini is a great coaster too and it's cool to slap hands with the other trains riders on the turn arounds. Gwazi is a great coaster, though I agree the duelling aspect is minor, but still a great pair of woodies.
Dueling Dragons@IOA with Gemini@CP a distant second.
funk that better watch out for the new vekoma slc
over 260 feet tall with a 200 feet tall loop
cost +-40 milj dollar.

vekoma RULES
I personally loved Lightning Racer and I am *not*
a fan of GCI designs. It's not top ten, but it's very rerideable and alot of fun.

I also like Dueling Dragons at IOA *alot*. Fire Dragon is so unique and different from most other
B&M Inverteds! It ranks right around #7 with me

For the record- I also like Kennywood's Racer alot
too.

None of you I suppose have been to "Blackpool Pleasure Beach" in the UK.

It has the BEST racing coaster of all time - "The Grand National". Ultimate airtime and racing, and one of only 3 mobius coaster in the world. "Gemini" is too slow.

The best dueling coaster is "Dueling Dragons". "Gwazi" was very disappointing for dueling, and has the slowest loading EVER.
gemini~it was once the tallest coaster in the world plus it is dueling~now that was a big deal!!!

WELCOME BACK RAPTOR RIDERS,HOW WAS YOUR FLIGHT?
My vote goes for SFGA's (what a surprise) American Eagle! Classic, exciting, intense yet a wonderfull ride. It has it all!
