Best Logo?

kraxleridah, if you know what the new logo for Orient Express looked like I think you'd change your mind. Unfortunately, I'm having a heck of a time finding a pic of it.

OK, I've given some thought to this one. Legend, first place, heads down! Other notables for me are Mantis - I'll never see that one again without thinking of Zorak, Brak's buddy and Space Ghost's sidekick. He's a cross between Ed McMahon and Paul Schaefer, and of course he's a mantis.... Stealth, Ghostrider and MForce are good, and Bull and Roar *prove* that SF *can* get in on the creativity thing. Busch just does a good job here overall in the naming, theming, etc.....and who could see the Superman logo without thinking of Shaq....;). Sure, I'm a Kings fan, but the Diesel IS Superman....
The reason Banshee was changed is because it means "wailing female spirit warning upon impending death."

Viper @ SFGAdv (which Kraxlridah mentioned already)

what is this Banshee roller coaster you guys keep talking about? i never heard of it....

Hollister,

Mantis at Cedar Point was origonally going to be called Banshee but the name was changed.

because it means "wailing female spirit warning upon impending death."
The Beast (hands down, still the best in my opinion)
Timber Wolf
Boulder Dash

There are so many.......but two of my favorites are Xcelerator, Riddler's Revenge. The SOB has a pretty cool logo too.

Well, not really.

Yes, Banshee does mean 'a wailing spirit' but the real reason it was changed was because Richard Kinzel didn't like it.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned The Boss. That is a sweet Logo, probably my fav. Runners up are of course Legend, GhostRider, and Villian.

Steel would have to Be Speed: The Ride, Goliath at SFMM Common! and Xcelerators is pretty sweet also

Ohhh. I had no idea they changed it. Can someone post the logo image if they find one on the net? Thanks! (But you have to admit the old one was ugly)

Do you mean the old one by the orange/brown/black logo? I liked that one. It looked fierce.

Säubern Sie mit Milch?

Millennium Force. So simple, but so awesome!! Although I might like it so much because I love the coaster so much.

There's so many good logos out there it's so hard to decide. I would love to see some of the logos that were drawn but not actually decided for the final and official logo.

Six Flags, the only chain of parks that can manage to have stacking with a one train operation.

I personally think M-Force's logo is too simple...it's kind of dull in my opinion.

I think Medusa's logo with the snakes and the train on them is pretty impressive. Dueling Dragon's logo is nice with the writing and the dragon's heads next to
each other.

I personally dont like the MF logo. I think people jus like it because the ride is so popular. I also like the Viper logo's

Apologies if you think this thread should have stayed on page two, but I haven't been able to post for a while, and you don't have to read it.

I saw it mentioned, but I just wanted to emphasize Shock Wave at SFGAm. Hate the ride if you will, but I just loved that logo, especially in the form of its 3-d sign out front. It conveyed power and fear in a truly sleek form. If anyone from Six Flags reads this, please do not re-name this coaster in its new home!

Dueling Dragons, Raging Bull, Iron Wolf and Medusa

Screechin' Eagle's is plain and simple, but I love it.

The above statement is false.

kraxle, yeah the old logo for OE was kind of ugly. I'll give you that.
