Benefit Concert and Pig BBQ in Conneaut Lake next week.

Yes, a full day of music, beer on ice, and the pig is in the ground. Good times. I am also including the link.

"Just heard a pig roast and concert with 6 bands from the Pittsburgh area will be held June 9th at the Fairway 12 Motel just north of CLP on Rt 618. Mr Davenport, owner/developer of the Snowaters Condominium project is allowing them the use of the golf course right behind the motel. Starts at 1:00 pm and goes to 11:30. Cost is 15 per couple, I believe. 10 for a single. Proceeds are going to help get the Park open by the 4th of July...spread the word."

Might have gotten some attendance from enthusiasts if they had moved it back about a week...

Well, there's an event at Dorney on Friday. Maybe someone here who's going can pass the word on to them. I won't be at Dorney, but I'm going to try to get to Conneaut.

It does sound like a lot of fun. Gee... if it works, why not do it all the time? What a way to get people to the park on a regular basis! That's what I'm talking about when I say that the park should try something different and unique.
