Bell's Announces New Ride

Bell's Amusement Park in Tulsa Oklahoma announced that they are building a 141-foot drop tower that will be call the "Mind Melt".

The $485,000.00 ride is packed up on trailer in Ohio, and will be delivered on September 22nd.

Bell said that's about the time the foundation will be finished and then the ride can be erected in about 8-hours. The ride will stand 140 feet tall and be situated between the Ferris Wheel and Tilt-A-Whirl. The ride will be showcased the first day of the Tulsa Fair.

The tower ride will be the second of its kind manufactured by Larson International of Plainview, Texas and A.R.M. Inc. of Wintersville, Ohio.

Bell's still plans to proceed with the court case on the wooden roller coaster which is now before the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals.

Good to hear the park is buying new rides despite the idiot neighbors. My fingers remain crossed for that new wood coaster!
