An accident at Beach Bend left 12 people injured. The toppled swing ride that left several children in hospital care Saturday night has since been removed permanently from the park.

A friend of mine was there the day this happened. They were riding Kentucky Rumbler, and when it went down and they were told it wouldn't likely re-open, he and his kids split. His daughter was gonna ride this earlier in the day, but didn't want to wait in a longer-than-expected line.
