Beech Bend Park KY

Well my family is going up to Kentucky this summer and we are going to be going to Beech Bend Park. I was just wondering what exactly to expect. I've been to their website so I expect something similar to a county fair. What can I expect though with cleanliness and pricing? Is Lopping Star worth my time for the credit? All these and more questions need YOU!

THE SCARIEST PART OF THE RIDE IS THE LIFT HILL!

Although it is a bit dated there is a good Beech Bend trip report here. Should tell you just about everything you need to know.
The park is fairly nice and very cheap. Drinks and food and admission are cheap. The coaster is one and done. Wierd ride. The park is also very lean on shade. Much bigger than there are rides, and a lot of it is pavement.

The log flume allows backwards riders. The key parts of the park for me were the dark ride and a couple cool spinners, including a Wisdom Tornado and one other one that I forget the name but has a great reputation. What made the park for me is the bumper cars. There are 2 sets, the one closest to the kiddie coaster are not be missed. They run extremely fast, making for great collision!

Yee-ouch. That was one mean-spirited trip report (the one linked in Mamoosh's reply). Holy moly ... the park does seem kinda cool, though, in a time-warp sorta way ...

Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.
The little white trash girl... classic.
This year they added a water park called Splash Lagoon. They also so Drop Tower made by A&R, and a Tug Boat.
