Beech Bend amusement park the only game in Kentucky

Business at Beech Bend Park, which is home to more than 30 rides, Is booming. The amusement park says they started getting busier when Kentucky Kingdom closed down three years ago. They say business has gone up 10 percent so far from last year alone.

Read more and see video from WBKO/Bowling Green, KY.

For the people who have been there, how is this park? It looks like a nice small park, but I haven't been interested enough to stop on the couple opportunities I've had to do so.

No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

Kentucky Rumbler is loosely based on the old Rye Playland Airplane, and ranks No. 5 in my Top 10 list of Wood Twisters.

It was the same ol' song until the newswoman ended with, "...and they will have a new surprise coming out next year."

I drove by Bowling Green a few months ago going to Nashville. I wanted the park to be open so bad.

Drove through Bowling Green so many times and never stopped. That crap has to change. :)

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

This is a park with a huge future, especially with KK/BB relegated to SBNO status for the foreseeable future. Like Holiday World, it's growing by leaps and bounds. Kentucky Rumbler still ranks very high on my list of woodies.

I think Beech Bend is incredibly underrated.

Only been there once, but I'd put their staff as one of the friendliest of any park I've ever been too.

Did Rumblefest in 08 after HWN. I loved the park. its kinda spread out but and only a couple standouts. But overall, Its a great little traditional park, I hear they rehabed the Haunted House recently.

Rumbler is great and even better at night. The Scat II is insane, Spinny Mouse is fun.

Dallas Bought the property for the drag strip which is now famous in the midwest and there was a area that had had a couple amusement parks in the past on top of the hill. You can see at least three Carousel Canopies in the park. They added a campground to the drag strip and rebuilt the amusement park slowly adding rides and doing like HW, Putting the money down on a risky expensive rollercoaster with GCII. It's a hit. I rank it right there with Thunderhead at Dollywood.

Dallas and Charlotte are very, very nice people. Stop in, Say Hi and have some fun.
