BeastBuzz 2003 at Paramount's Kings Island

I was still dizzy all day at work today, between Delerrrrrreum and IB's Scrambler on Sunday, I am parked out.............

.....Well at least until I get to PKI's sister park on the west coast in 12 days. ;)

Mrs. DEK and I wanted to add our "Thanks!" to Jeff, Stephanie and all the PKI crew for a fantastic event. Jeff Siebert was his usual exuberant self and made this event even more enjoyable. The other staff and ride-ops that stayed to the wee hours were great and did everything in their power to ensure our good time.

The behind-the-scenes tour was one of our favorite parts of the day. And, of course, the night rides on Delirium and The Beast were awe-inspiring.

We can't wait for next year to see what PKI could possibly do to top this year.

Again, a huge THANKS to all the people involved with putting this event together.

I'm still thinking about the Delirium rides. That thing exceeded my expectations in every way. I can see already that we may need to include that on next year's itinerary!

PKI was the 8th park my wife and I visited in 10 days, and I think it was the most relaxing and enjoyable day of the trip. We left Sandusky around 8:30 am under a miserable looking sky, and we weren't too sure how well the day would go if it was going to be rainy. When we arrived at PKI around 12:30, the clouds had given way to sunlight and even though we were already pretty tired, we hung it to the end.

We missed the second spin on Delirium, so we didn't feel any motion sickness. We also got our first non-rainy ride on Beast, which was absolutely incredible.

Thanks to Jeff Siebert and the PKI staff for going out of their way to make us feel welcome. Also thanks to Jeff and Stephanie for organizing a great event. We're looking forward to next year!

Eastcoaster Field of 64

My sense of balance was so screwed up after Delirium, that crazy entrance and exit of the Mystery Machine in the Scooby ride, and the ERT on The Beast & FOF that when I was driving back home through Cincy, it felt like I was literally on a coaster again. (and going through that one tunnel didn't help anything either! :) ) Definitely good times at PKI. I'm already looking forward to next year.

It was one of the best coaster events I ever went to. Thanks Jeff ! 2 Days of hot dogs and fried chicken... After the TTD letdown of coastermania...the ERT at beastbuzz was the best . ScobbyDoo's Haunted Castle I managed a score of 1600 Points .....WOO~HOO ! It was great themed ride. I LOVED Delrium ! 3 rides in a row wasn't enough for me.. and yes I was that nut case screaming so loud... it was a giggle machine.. I could have ridden it a few more times....every park should have one of these rides.

WOW ..FOF...was incredibly fast..... way to cool...It should be run like that all the time . And the night time ERT on the beast was awesome. We had rode the Beast several times though out the day, but nothing beats the beast at night...I had so much fun I cant wait till next years beastbuzz !

I would also like to add my "thanks" to the list. It was a very fun event and PKI went waaaayyy beyond what I expected. This was also the first time I've gotten to speak to Jeffrey S. at any length. He's a great host, and extremely funny.

Oh yeah...Ebeth, I too could have done a couple more Delirium rides (I think 5 in a row is my limit, at least if I'm sitting facing SOB).
