You don;t need AOL, but you do need a program to unzip the file. Beast trainer is great, but it always seems to freeze up my computer when ever I get an awesome layout made. I;ve downloaded all the patches too, and get the same problem. Good luck!!

I do not have AOL and I do not use AOL, I have higher standards than that, I use Prodigy if you must know. So ask questions before you assume and start trying to "rip" on someone. All you did was just make yourself look like a fool. That said, go chu on this,,,,,

Prodigy, MSN, AOL, it's all the same.
Anyway if you have Win XP it will unzip files, if not just go to tucows.com and download winzip.

It cracks me up how people with AOL think that AOL is the only way to do certain things. My father-in-law is diehard AOL. I had to argue with him for 10 minutes to convince him that you can use IM with other ISPs. He finally said, "Well, maybe, but it works better with AOL."

AOL, while a pain, brought the internet into America's homes. It's hard to discount that. I have an AOL account. I use it for my children. They are the only mainstream ISP I have seen that allows 7 unique users on the same account, with parental controls that allow me to control the amount of time, IMs, web access etc.
I use a local ISP for my broadband. They provide nothing but access.
Back on topic, sort of. I have always had problems with the Beast Trainer. I use the Swiss Army Knife trainer. It is simple, but it serves my purposes. I have a1.2gHz CPU with 512M memory, so it's not my machine. The Dragon Trainer works pretty well too.

Maybe Canada sees the truth, as AOL is next to non-existant up here...
But seriously, I don't understand why AOL is so popular

Starting arguments on a messageboard on the internet is fun? If you have nothing better to do than start an argument or put someone down on a messageboard after they ask a simple question, you need a hobby. Thats just kinda pathetic dont ya think? This post isnt even worth my time after I submit this last reply. So have fun going off on your "I hate AOL tangent." Have fun there kiddo. peace-D
P.S. If you REALLY need to know since you have nothing better to invest your time in. I was under the wrong assumption that I needed AOL to unzip a zip file because I did not have something to unzip it with.

And it's not like I go searching for AOL fights, like you I don't really care...nor do I 'invest time in it'
