I sprinted directly to Son of Beast. As i made my way through the winding que my heart was racing. I was finally going to ride my number one coaster of all time for the first time in 05. As i jumped on the train in the back seat i was the only one on the train. When i heard "all clear" and the train started to leave the station it brought tears to my eyes. Down the swooping drop out of the station, it was breathtaking. As the train started to climb the 218 feet lift hill i was so excited. Foot after foot my excitment grew even more, then as the train crested the top I raised my arms in delight. The swooping dip out of the lift reminds me of a b&m, the only difference is the SoB's is smoother and more intense. As the train rocketed down the first drop it was floating air nirvana, to my left i caught a glimpse of the only loop on a wooden coaster. As the train galloped up and to the right a lil' it was pure bliss. As the trin dropped into the legendary 540 helix again floating g's along with great lateral g's. The Rose Bowl was so smooth, intense, and fast! The train then came to the mcbr with my arms still in the air, I started bowing to the wooden marvel known as the Son of beast. Down the banked drop into the world's only loop on a woodie it was breathtaking, way better than any swarztkoff with lap bars. The train then pulled out of the loop and headed into the second 540 helix again smooth and intense. As the train careened over the air time hill to follow i got so much ejector air. As the train made the curve again i was given great satisfaction. I was in floating air nirvana on the drop into the station it was incredible.
The Son of Beast was a awsome ride. It was so smooth, intense, and fast. It had great lateral g's, floating g's, and killer ejector air to rival many famous steel coasters. I give it 10/10:)
I rode it 12 more times that night with each being a 10/10. I even rode once in the front:)
Next up was Top Gun. It is way to short. 6/10
next up drop zone. I raised my arms the whole time. 8/10. I can't give it any higher cause Hellervator at sfkk is so much better!:)
Delerium was next. 9/10
Flight of Fear. Front seat in the dark magical, but not like SoB:)
I watched the IJST for a lill bit because i was sore from flight of fear. Trains were launching all night but with no passengers. It looks more intense than i thought it would be. The friendly pki employee told me that it should be open next friday for gold pass day.
With storms rolling in and pki closing early at 8 i made my eay back to the beast.
While not as smooth, intense, or fast as the Son it was still a good ride to end the night on. 9/10 back row.
The PKI staff was ungodly slow as christmas but they were very polite and always called me sir. Crowds were very light and I had a wonderful night at PKI! *** Edited 4/23/2005 4:25:16 AM UTC by Beast Tamer***
"Troll troll troll, T-T-Ta Ta Troll
Trolltrolltrolltroll Troll
Troll troll troll, T-T-Ta Ta Troll
Trolltrolltrolltroll Troll"
You are so supremely rediculous that I am starting to have a hard time believing that you are who you say you are, so I am starting to agree with the whole conspiracy theory as well.
Edit-
...I wanted to offer you some advice and help like I did one of our reformed trolls of the past, but you are much too old to become a Little Brother or find a mentor. I don't know how creepy you are in person so maybe it is or is not a good idea for you to look for a young friend who you can be a roll model to.
Do you find that thinking about SOB interrupts other areas of your life? Is coaster riding, and SOB the only hobbie you have? Do peers, family members, and/or co-workers want you to shut-up and talk about something else besides coasters for a change? If you answered "yes" to at least one of these questions, I recommend a shrink.
OR- Just maybe the jokes on all of us. You simply can't be sincere about your affection for SOB. It just doesn't make any sense.
OOPS, I fed it. Sorry.

This is my trip report. If you don't like it don't post:)
That sums it up well.
C'mon, guys, you may not agree with his opinion, but he's entitled to it.
That said, I DO think a few of BT's posts are designed to get a rise out of people, and apparently it's working.

Son of Beast always brings tears to my eyes as well. Just not happy tears.

Yes it was. ;)http://pki.com/events/events_schedule.cfm
D'oh! I should have know there was some sort of event.
If PKI is listening. . .Take the height limit off of Delerium and put it on SoB.
P.S. PKI is not listening. . .
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.
