Bay Beach considering adding... a beach

If they needed a beach...

IMO, They do need a beach.

And a flashy flat ride with a big lighting package. Up against the water, it would be beautiful...and attract more guests...

They need a Giga.

But seriously, I had no idea the park was without a (current) beach.. I always assumed they had one.

The park is so great. A beach area would be really great.

I don't know much about Bay Beach, but I see the money was allotted by a Pro Football Stadium District entity. How close is this place to Lambeau Field?

We drove over to Lambeau in under 15 minutes. Had some cheese curds and burgers at a bar right next door to the stadium. Vince Lombardi would have been proud...

120K for a study to investigate the prospect of a swimming beach seems a little steep to me...

Not really... I worked for a city and you'd be surprised what a traffic study costs. The environmental assessments were usually far more.

The Lambaeu Stadium District is a completely different thing than Bay Beach. The stadium is actually in Ashwabanon, and not Green Bay. They are at least five miles apart if not more. I think the beach would be a really good idea for this park as it is mostly a picnic park for families that just happens to have rides. Not that I would swim in Green Bay. That water is way too cold for me, even at the height of summer. :)
