Bay Beach Amusement Park - July 19, 2009

Associated parks:
None

This will be a short trip report. Was up visiting the National Railway Museum in Green Bay WI. After completing the day there, my wife and I took our 21 month old over to Bay Beach Amusement park for her first visit to an amusement park. Yes, it's small, and lacks a roller coaster, but she loves trains and loves driving the shopping cart at the grocery store. She had a ball at this park, riding the train, the carousel, and several of the kiddy cars. The price could not be beat ($.25 per ticket, 1 - 2 tickets per ride) and free parking. A very large ice cream cone for $1.50. Overall, less than $10 spent on an evening for three. That can not be beat.

What this park really could use, however, would be a small wooden coaster along the lines of a Waldameer Comet of Hillcrest Little Dipper. That's really all it is missing. Will it keep older kids occupied? Probably not. But, for little kids, it's perfect.
