Batwing?

Hey i am going to SFA next sat. and i can't wait to ride batwing. Last time i went was in aug. and they were having alot of problems so i did'not get to ride it. So i was just wondering if it is a amazing ride. Also i wanted to know if it has been runing well. And if they have not had as much problems. Thanks!
I have rode X-flight many times this year, and it is AWESOME!!!  Being that the rides are identical, I am sure Batwing is the same.  my advice is sit in the back seat!!  The loop is so much more intense in the very back.  Put your amrs out like superman, and DONT HOLD ON!!  it is Awesome!!
Batwing is awesome and very different from anything you've ever ridden before. It is bumpy at times, but the restraints don't produce any headbanging, so you can enjoy your ride. It has been running a little better, but still has technical problems from time to time (to be fair, so does S:ROS).

Batwing-Bow Down

Batwing is running pretty regularly right now, but the last time that I was there was still in single train operation.  I found the ride comfortable.
I'm gong to weigh in with a differeing opinion. I rode it only once (and stood in line for an hour to ride it). To be truthful, I would much rather have spent that time for re-rides on Wild One or Roar. Would I ride it again... yes. Would I ride again if I had to wait in a line (say more than 15 minutes), probably not. The loop was intense... but other than that, I was rather disappointed.

If I were to rate it (which I hate to do), I would give it a 10 on the "unique" scale, but over all, as coasters go, I would put it somewhere around a 5 or 6.

I personally love the ride and rank it as the best coaster experience I've... um... experienced. But I also hear mixed reports. I'd suggest waiting in whatever line is there to ride it once, but then that's the rule for ANY coaster.

Enjoy it for what is different. If it was a normal inverted coaster it would bite, but the body position is what makes the ride.

The backseat is one of the most intense on any ride I've ever been on. At SFWoA, they're running two trains regularly, and I've seen it possible to run three, though I don't know they ever have (or are even licensed by the state to do so).

Is it a good ride? Yeah, it's pretty good. I'm not sure I'd call it awesome as much as I'd call it different. I know that when it hits the brake run, all I want to do is get the heck off of my back.

i've ridden batwing 6 times this season, and I find that the earlier in the day you ride it, the less likely you are to run into technical problems. however, if it is still running regularly at night, go for it! riding it at night is awesome because you can't see anything! it's like flight of fear+xflight!

It's indeed an amazing ride, too bad you're not attending the Coaster Zombie event next Saturday, we've got ERT on the ride before the park opens.....

It's an awesome "concept" and an awesome ride, but until we see better layouts I won't say its my #1 coaster.. but definitly a great coaster and loads of fun to experience... nothing my words can really describe.

You will have a great ride on it nonetheless.

I have rode X-Flight and it is probably the same unless their is any little details that have been changed. I think it is one of the most awesome rollercoasters. Its an intense ride (especially the loop with 4.3 G's) but it is worth it. I just wish it was a lot taller and steeper and that Vekoma wouldn't use the exact same design.
Coaster8888777,
You do not need to be a member of Coasterzombies to go to the Coasterzombies event... I think you just have to be a member of a coaster organiaztion.... or mayeb not at all. I am also going to the event next staurday at SFA and I can't wait for my ERT on Batwing and S:ROS. I went to the Coasterzombies event on opening day and we were supposed to get ERT on Batwing at 9:30 or so and the ride didn't open until 5-6 P.M. We did get to ride other rides in the meantime and we still got to check on the ride a lot. We waited about 8 hours to ride. We got a few rides in and then the public got to ride but it broke down and closed for the rest of the day. The annual SFA invasion is supposed to be pretty fun and because SFA is my home park I have to attend my first event there. I hope to see you there again Sam Marks..... hopefully we can get our Batwing rides in within an hour and hopefully the security guards won't harrass us again and try to kick us out of the line like last time. haha. Oh and Sam..... if you read this..... I hope you got my registration..... I mailed it on October 3rd..... so hopefully you got it by the October 6th due date. It's for two people.... David and Stuart.
