Universal Studios Singapore has shut down the world's tallest duelling rollercoaster, Battlestar Galactica, because of a technical problem, a mere week after the theme park opened.
Read more from Reuters.
That's the Vekoma we all know and love. :)

Rumor has it both Intamin and Premier worked on the ride too :)
So what was the "glitch"? They didn't mention what it was in the article.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks, than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
Haha, Jeff
I think that the problem was that one coaster train shot the other coaster train with a laser blaster...or something. ;)
This ride looks pretty interesting. Too bad it was designed by Vekoma.
It looks cool...in concept. All of the video I've seen of the ride shows the two trains off-sync and off-duel.
Well if the Cylon train ever caught the Human train, there wouldn't be anymore ride. ;)

So my question for that park:
Was Starbuck a male or a female? :)
* Twitter *
Starbuck could be a two-headed shim. The first series could have represented the character as a man and the second as a woman out of sheer confusion of how a two-headed shim is to be represented with a limited special effects budget. ;)

that could have been the glitch.
I heard a seat cushion flew off one of the Cyclon trains.
But I also hear the voice of an angel when Miley Cyrus opens her mouth, so you might want to take that with a grain of salt...

I felt an odd sense of superiority for not understanding the battlestar galactica jokes in this thread...but then I recall that i got the coaster manufacturer jokes so nevermind...
To make you feel beter, two-headed shim has nothing to do with Battlestar Galactica. It's just my description of conjoined twins that are of both sexes, which is impossible, rude, and not that funny. ;)
And laser blasters? ...I don't even watch the show*. It was a science fiction reference more or less. So I'm with ya.
*What I have seen of the show was really good though.
