Battlestar Galactica roller coaster will reopen this month

After almost a year of being grounded, the world's tallest duelling roller coaster, the Battlestar Galactica, will resume operations on February 21. The fault that closed the ride for nearly a year was attributed to fatigue cracks detected in a welded component of the seat's support structure, the part that attaches the coaster's seat to its frame.

I just want you to know, you're my hero. In a world full of coaster geeks that take it way too seriously, you go and do and enjoy it and don't make a huge deal about it. Have fun and take loads of pix when you do make it there.
