Batman:TR at SFGAm to be named coaster landmark.

You make a very valid point Matthew, and I know we debated Revolution for a long time. I think we finally decided we wanted to do something to recognize the historical significance of Anton's first looper even if we despise what they did to it.
I hope some organisation will acknowledge what La Ronde did this year. Instead of removing the Arrow Mini Mine Train and replacing it with a Zamperla coaster, they decided to keep it and repaint it so its will fit with the new area.

Shaggy - I'm good, hot stuff! Check your inbox soon, I'm sending a long-overdue email.

Jeffrey - I totally understand. Do you know if anyone actually spoke to the park about the way its operated? I.E. is the park aware of its condition?

Gator - I hope "when" is right...I'd love to see the trains restored to their original condition.

I think Revolution got noticed for the ride it was, not the ride it is. And yeah, I'm not entirely convinced that the ride should be noted considering how it's currently run, regardless of how historically significant it is.

I would disagree. The ride is historically significant and it is, I think, appropriate to take notice of that.

I live in Chicago, and the fact that Navy Pier (which likes to boast that it's the most-visited attraction in Illinois) has been turned into a gaudy, tacky tourist trap doesn't alter the the history of the Pier, which is significant and worthy of note.
